  • this is unreal-step in to the ring

  • @SuperPurgatorio not sure if troll or just idiot

  • @darkdrake13

YOURE LAME, EVERY MMA MAN VCOULD KILL THIS GIRLY DRESSED AIKIDOKAS

  • @SuperPurgatorio Do you know anything about anything at all?Even your spelling is bad, and why are you typing in caps? are you supposed to be angry or something?Normally I'd throw a few arguments but i think your head is so filled with ignorance and stupidity that it probably wouldn't do you any good.

  • @darkdrake13

oh yeah?? i have some questions- every time when i enter in tha dojo i see old people and ladies who cant even do the proper throw?

-why they are so many unreal attacks, with low tech?

-if i attack you with smart kicks and punches you would really counter me?

-why do people in western dojos are untrained athletes who cant do exercise more then half an hour?

-why is aikido in the wolrd underrestimated-because its so effective (haha) and has many champions (haha) ?

  • @SuperPurgatorio ''everytime i enter in the dojo'' you make it sound like you visited 100's of aikido dojo's before.Don't judge the art by the artist.Aikido takes no physical strenght because it is about applying pressure on the joints and the pressure points.

  • @SuperPurgatorio See it as a decendant of jiu jutsu.Aikido is underestimated because it isn't a fighting art, its a self-defense art that was created around a philosophy of love and peace. You can attack me with smart kicks and punches, I'll counter you with smart movements and grabs, it all depends on the experience, the reflexes and the intelligence of the martial artist, and that applies to every martial art.

  • @SuperPurgatorio The attacks are ''unreal'' for demonstration purposes.Depending on the dojo, you may practice traditional aikido or practical aikido but with years of practice, even the traditional becomes practical. You may not understand alot of what I've just said until you actually start practicing martial arts. And If you have the balls, go grab an aikido-ka by his sleeve or his wrist or even try pushing him, you will see wether it is effective or not.

  • *What moves are they at 2.29 and 2.38?

  • What is it at 2.29 and 2.32?

  • The way they demonstrate the 3rd kumijo (1'06) only shows they have never learned it properly. Shame on them, they lack the humility to learn.

  • Does Sensei Tissier have any students that teach his style of aikido in the United States???

  • Aikido is very easy with an obedient uke. :))

  • @TheRovsky it is easy to throw an obedient uke to the ground, but that doesn't make you an Aikido master ;)

  • People who look down on Aikido have never watched a Steven Seagal movie.

  • can i know the music please? Thankss!!

  • The way they show the 4th then 3rd kumijos shows they don't have a clue of what they showing.

They did not have the humility to learn form a competent teacher.

    Appalling.

  • I already heard this song somewhere..like youtube..no..wait...oh yeah: youporn

  • To all the so-called "true fighters" who only come here to dislike and criticize this stuff, take on this guy and we'll see how you think of Aikido after that. Just do it, I'm sure he would want to.

  • Great show !

  • HE'S SO WRONG !!!!!

This fucking stupid guy does a really wrong aikido. He has a really bad spirit.

  • He what?!?!?!?!?!??! OMFG! He is one of the best teachers, and aikidokas in the world...LOL - You're funny guy..." does realy wrong aikido"...hahahahah You make me laugh...

  • @RobTlu Hahaha. He may be an excellent teacher. But when I see him doing "aikido" (if he's doing aikido), I'm sad. It's so dangerous. Aikido is a martial ART. It's not a stupid way of fighting. When you practise aikido, your Uke musn't suffer from your skills. Compare this guy (strangely he's french...) with Tamura Sensei, Saito Sensei or O Sensei. It's a really different kind of aikido.

Tissier does an aikido which is beautiful. But it's just beautiful. It's not aikido. Just for demonstrations.

  • @Astriam

I think that you do not know who it is Tissier. His uke have 4 and 5 dan. So I do not understand what you mean.

Their skills are at a very high level. Traded names Tamura or Saito - Understand that each of them is doing the very different aikido. Each of the various masters in the world doing other than O-Sensei's Aikido. This does not mean that what they are doing is not aikido. The same is the case Tissier. And just as spectacular is the many other masters of Aikido, not only Tissier.

  • And in general it is idiotic to call him stupid guy. You're talking about one of the most prominent shihan.

  • @RobTlu You know, O Sensei sent Tamura Sensei in France to share aïkido in Europe.Tamura knew Tissier. He hated him. And Tissier hates Tamura. Tamura spoke about aïkido as a martial art. Tissier speaks about aïkido (look his interview at the Olympic Games) as a sport. Aikido is non-violence. But Tissier's aikido is really dangerous ! Tissier said Tamura's aïkido is "old/useless aikido", and he also says that the aïkido he (Tissier) does is more powerful and right aikido. Tissier does a wrong one

  • @Astriam , What are you talking about??? Dangerous???All that is exercised in the wrong way is dangerous...But certainly not Tissier's Aikido. I practice this style (Tissier). Previously, I practiced the styles Chiba, Ikeda and Asai. Chiba's style is dangerous compared with Tissier. Tissier is very dynamic and sitting on. I know the story of Tamura and basically do not care about their relationship. Tissier one like it and someone else will Tamura. I'm not saying that any worse or better.

  • @RobTlu You should do aikido as Uke with Tissier. If after you can still do aikido, you should try with a Tamura's follower. You'll see, it's two different worlds ! Not the same spirit, way of thinking.

You should read O-Seinsei words. They are very spiritual and great.

    Just TRY.

  • Too many books, buddy ... This is a story you can tell the kids;) I have been training a long time now, to believe in such miracles as you say. :) Cheers, and respect the different tastes, please.

  • @RobTlu 6:18 What he is doing ? Stupid demonstration.

  • @Astriam I don't want to explain that because you can not understand aikido and his rules. I learned from Tissier in Vincennes. And it madean error that does not mean anything. Many makes mistakes including other Shihans. Tamura also. Your arguments seem to be sucked from the finger. Your arguments seem to be sucked from the finger. You can not rationally explain why the demo Tissier is stupid. In that case, I do not want to discuss further with you until you begin to speak rationally.

  • @RobTlu LOL !

    I've already explained why.

You should read O'Sensei words. They are very interesting. Very very few people understand aikido. Tamura, Saito, O'Sensei, maybe his son and grand son...

I am sure I don't understand aikido like them. It's impossible, but I try to.

Tissier just wants to be the richest possible. He don't care about the philosophy of aikido. He just does his job. "Aikido is a sport" he said. I think I must have a better comprehension of Aikido than you.

  • @Astriam Have not heard worse nonsense as I live...

  • @Astriam

O'sensei son is dead... LOL I see that you have knowledge of Aikido...a rather small ...

For your information: I know perfectly well what O'sensei said...

  • @RobTlu I know his son is dead ! Where the fuck did I say he is still alive ?!?! O'Sensei, Saito and Tamura are also dead...

I had "the luck" to go to one of Tissier. (I was doing Aikido with Tamura Sensei at this time...)

I wondered if I was doing Aikido (when I was with Tissier) or if I was doing something else which is not aikido... However, I did Aikido with lots of great aikido teachers...

  • @Astriam I attended one smenirar with Tissier in Chile some years ago and he is very kind. He took many of us to practice and with each one of us he was very gentle. This means that he knows when to do a technique faster or more powerful, and also when to do it gently and softer. I really admire him.

  • @rioschelen Totally agree!!!

  • @rioschelen Totally agree!!!

  • @rioschelen Totally agree!!

  • @Astriam are you an Aikidoka?

  • @1codcod Of course I am ! Last year, he came to my city and did a stage. I decided to try this different Aikido style... I do dislike it. I was used to practice the traditionnal aikido (Tamura and O Sensei). So, at a moment, he showed us a skill. I knew this skill, but very differently. I prefered my way of doing it, because I didn't need any strenght. When he saw me doing it, he said :"No, you're wrong." He showed me again. I told him kindly : "why not doing it in this way, like Tamura ?"

  • @1codcod He stopped and said : "Tamura is an idiot (don't know how to translate it rightly), his aikido is wrong. It is an old Aikido, which is "out-of-date". We do true Aikido." I was so shocked to hear that. I left the tatami and now, when I see a stage in my city done by FFAAA (his federation), I don't go. I only go to FFAB (Tamura way) stages...

  • @Astriam You're not an Aikidoka, I practice Iwama and I like Tissier way

  • @1codcod How can you say I'm not an Aikidoka ? Who are you to say that ? Have you ever seen me ? Have you ever seen my Aikido ? How can you judge me ? No, so .....

  • @Astriam You're not an Aikidoka period

  • @1codcod What ? I don't understand what you mean... (I'm not a native english speaker...) Anyway, I won't come anymore on this video... But I have to admit Tissier and his Ukes are really good actors. Bye.

  • @Astriam Go ahead and pratice your Aikidance

  • they dont actually fight , if you all see one guy tries to grab the other guys hand and never tries to actually punch.

  • But aikikai aikido is just one of many variants. It isn't the best or the most efficient or the most important or the coolest. It is probably the best known in the western world and one of the most focused on non violence. But all variants are equally interesting and efficient, but focus on different aspects.

  • my god, I have made my second session today. When I see this video, my eyes are full of stars

  • LOVE IT

  • packoftwenty you'ra a nitwit. a punch in the face is for sure bad but did you have NO IDEA what pain is. Try some of the wristlocks. I promis you, you will cry out of pain. And 1 punch, most of the time, isn't enough to floor somebody. These techniques will!

But first ALLWAYS AVOID GETTING IN THESE KIND OF SITUATIONS!!! If you get in one, you're not doing it right.

I'll take a punch in the face any time over an REAL wristlock (with a bad ending)

  • some people here have no clue what this martial art is able to do! I practice hard style karate for 15 years. Had almost everything broken, and yet my worst injuries came from aikido, which I have spent the last 18 trying to understand. Its true that for some who have only done aikido need to go out and try another art to feel what its like to get struck. But people who come here to bash something they've never done is true ignorance in every sense. Im a police officer it works nicely!

  • I did aikido during 6 months and I will never do it again : i feel sick because of the fallings...almost throw up my lunch. it's a pity because aikido is great!!!

  • Comment removed

  • good entertainment, but as everyone now knows Aikido doesn't work when someone is fighting back. And no doubt loads of guys will tell you that im wrong, but that is because they have spent their whole life doing something which is completly useless, and they dont want to face up to that fact

  • @packoftwenty I've been hit by the face... it hurts and need to realign my nose and all but a mistake in aikido practice has got me grounded for 3 days. And i was lucky it was not dislocated. Let alone if done deliberately.

All martial arts has its strengths and weaknesses... sure, we'll go down in 1 punch by a professional boxer but so will a boxer when he expose himself to any of aikido techniques. would you call him a pussy then?

  • @packoftwenty

you're missing the point of Aikido

  • yes, the rollings and fallings are exatly to dont broke or dislocated somethings...

    believe me, this techniques works....

  • damn music!!!!!

  • nice

  • 99% of people who look down on aikido have never tried it.

  • @schmuardian Ain't that the truth. Still, macho guys with insecurities need to make fun of something to feel better about themselves, so why not the art that looks most like flowery dancing? Good thing those guys will never been smart fighters.

  • @Nateb123 well said ;-)

  • guys i have been doing martial arts since i was 6 yrs now i am 45 yrs .judo, wado riu jiu jitsu, wing chun, and boxing all of them on professional standards been in the special forces for 20 years and worked security in nasty night clubs for 22 years,i only had 3 times a punch or a kick hitting my body.i started aikido 5 years ago on a daily basis and i love it and trust me i will prefer to have as my opponent a 260 lbs muscular nasty guy than an aikidoga 120lbs .

  • @aikidogacyprus with respect friend, i doubt u been around the right block if that is your conlusion. Im not saying u havent seen and experienced, but those arts u described wouldnt typically put u in a higher circle. As for the bars.. well cmon. Hey imagine this- a 260 muscular guy well versed in linear combat expressed in a few different forms and a deep understanding of centrifuges. Man the're out there. We're talking about the whole pie here. not just part. TRAIN HARD! LOVE IT .KEEP IT UP

  • @jaikaransingh The thing is that an aikidoka that weighs 260 lbs instead of 120lbs will still throw you the same way with the same amount of force. The forces you see at work in Aikido aren't the force of one person pushing or throwing another. They're the result of simple turns and well-applied leverage. It's all momentum and gravity at work. That momentum is coming from the attacker, not the aikidoka and so the weight of the aikidoka doesn't matter.

  • @Nateb123 yes friend, Im glad to see u hace an understanding, a clear one at that on this principle. And of course I agree with u- how couldnt I? But the point I was trying to make alluded u. Perhaps because ur focused on this one element of combat or physical expression. Utlizing this one principle is not as a basis of combat is not enough. picture this, 260 & 120, same approx understanding of this principle, enter other principles for the guy @ 260. And u finish the equation.

  • @aikidogacyprus AGREE MATE..... Similar to Judo, the heavier the force, the stronger the fall... In Aikido, this is even a worse: as almost is all about circular movements, the force of the proyection increases dramatically. Unfortunately, I've known some cases of people I am/was related with that, being Aikido practitioners were about to be killed or wounded by those punks and gansters you typically watch on a Charles Bronson film. Results: the 3 cases ended in punks being KILLED in one move.

  • Yeah, the original Aikido, Aikidodujustsu (or whatever) was highly lethal I mean you mess with one of the guys knowing it and you're neck is snapped or if you were lucky enough to live you would no longer have an arm useable in combat. Scary shit.

  • how the hell did he eve feel that first shiho nage was there?! at 0:12 amazing

    nul

cela devient le show et on oublie l'art martial

    société spectacle= pourri

  • what's the second song?

  • Just gorgeous

  • @ owl so ur oppenent doesent really want to hurt u in combat n they dnt lose there self control?? Aikido is very effective on the street or in combat, if u got the techniques down it will work. Its different in aikido u have to have experence n have the techniques down n aikido will work flawlessly! Aikido takes a while to learn n alot of time is needed but once u get it its the most lethal free flowing art in the world!!

  • @MrJudo15 AGREE MATE..... Similar to Judo, the heavier the force, the stronger the fall... In Aikido, this is even a worse: as almost is all about circular movements, the force of the proyection increases dramatically. • As far as I can see, a lot of this is only doable if the person whom you're fighting has had rudementary aikido training.

  • only if you don't want to hurt the person ^^

in other case, it will result in injures for the opponent

  • i agree with jackalfajack, this music is completely useless and ruining this beautiful art that is Aïkido

  • nonono :)

  • WHY did you have to rouin art with this music...

  • Where's Steven Seagal??:D

  • Did I dream, or he almost fell down at 3.05 ?

  • you did not dream !

  • Tissier Sensei is awesome

    Sportivement

    JMB

  • I practice aïkido. to use it in street you need to practice for many years

  • Anyone here who practises Aikido? Cause I don't know whether I should start doing it...is it applicable, e.g. if someone on the streets attacks you? And isn't it boring (cause it's a lot of throwing)?

  • I've trained kickboxing before but i don't like that shit anymore because it makes you agressive...

Aikido is very efective on the street but you need experience.

    Steven Segal know it.. :-)

  • same here.

i started shadowboxing on EVERYTHING xD

judo and aikido and karate are better, because it has more philosophy.

but be honest... nothing beats kickboxing/mma on the streets ;)

  • I've done aikido for awhile now. Its great fun, keeps you fit, and it its really helpful. I've used it on the streets once and it worked well, but like Pimp90z said, you do need some expierence before you can use it in a fight.

  • Comment removed

  • i did kickboxing and judo, and a friend of mine aikido.

if you're good, it is really sweet. as soon as you grab somebody, he's done.

(i was really good in judo, but couldnt do anything)

but on the streets? pff... probably mma is better... and even better is a weapon.. and best of all is to run!

street fights are never fair: groups, weapons and 'illegal moves' make it different from a sport.

nothing works there, except strength and being sober.

but it is a beautiful sport!

  • I think aikido is perfect when an attacker wants to assault you. The more blindly, the better. It's not a combat style, and it doesn't want to be such, but it's great if someone wants to grab, bear-hug, choke or push you.

On the other hand, it's unapplicable in combat, unless your opponent really wants to hurt you bad and loses his self-control.

  • If you want real self defense => do self defense.

If you want something more interesting and philosophic that will increase your body and your mind do aikido.

  • @CaPtNBoOBoO Are you developmentally delayed?

  • I wondered "why all the fancy rolling?" when i first watched it but the more i learn the more i think that the guys are doing the rolling to protect themselves from actually getting seriously injured or dislocated...

  • @RMabee88 I train Aikido... And if you don't do the "fancy rolling" you are just fucked up... Once I didn't do the rolling and I fractured my Clavicle ;)

  • @RMabee88 yes you are right...

  • @RMabee88

The "fancy rolling" is the best way to take the energy you receive being thrown, to get up again and to keep yourself from falling hard or "sliding". But it can also be an offensive way to shorten distances not giving an exact clear way of positioning

  • @RMabee88

they use various locks in Aikido to make their opponent do what they want. The fight is over with before it began.

  • @RMabee88 You're totally Right, I train Tae-Kwon-Do and we do all these rolls to escape and avoid damage. It's not the defender who throws you, the attacker has to react and know how to escape this way not to finish hurt, injuried or broken.

  • @RMabee88 Yea they do that bcuz they dont wanne break a arm neck or an other part of there body XD

  • he is the best,,he is so good for 59 year old guy!respect! great precision n breath

  • Check the demos of René VDB, his is 66

  • sorry but Rene is one of the fakers I hate...no offence to you or who like him.Christian use to be more combative than I see him this year...make a difference!

  • If you call him (René VDB) only by his first name means you know him or practice with him did you ? I sure not. Am I wrong ?

  • This is the worst randori I have seen from this guy. What happend?

  • I'd have to agree. Hurt, sick? But then he does have very skilled Deshi's that could've taken over this year.

  • His knees are totaly messed up. No more meniscs.

  • I'm baffled, isn't this simply coreography? If you're appreciating this video purely on that basis, then that's cool, but if you're watching it with the belief that what they show would be affective in a martial arts tournament or real life situation... then that's another matter.

  • Aikido is useable in a real life situation... It doesn't look like it, but it's definitly useable. If you don't believe it, try it out at your local dojo ;-)

  • Yeah, go along to an Aikido dojo and you'll change your mind...i've done Kyokushin Karate for 12 years and occasionally go back to Aikido, suffice to say i'm always aching the next morning...

  • Tissier rules!!!!

  • 3:00 amazing Kokyu Nage!

  • bercy festval...how far

  • il est the best of the best!

  • Perche' ?!?

  • wow amazing great video !!!

  • Youp, thats true - like all videos from Bercy's festival ''D I have too say, speed and dynamic of all technices is really inrcredible
