Being a child of true Metal I have to say, Helloween kicks ass. I'm so happy to see that melodic metal isn't dead. Most metal nowadays is ok musically, but when the singer opens his asshole it sounds like he/she is in the middle of a horribly painful shit. I guess they think they sound demonic or something. Andi Deris is, not only thanks to his personal, extensive and very well used versatile voice, The man for Helloween. His songwriting has brought alot to a german powermetal band which was going down, and fast, with albums such as Pink Bubbles and Chameleon. He brought in alot of variation to a band that, thanks to line-up changes, has been able to move forth with their unique and impressing style of metal.
