Simply fantastic. I love Blazblue for this kinda balance~ MvC is so ugly compared to this XD I havn't seen Matsu lose much as Rachel, this Hakumen is fkin' intense o.o rock on Buppa

yeah I know there are ways in getting through it. But they start to do it once time is almost.

Fighting against rachel, to me, feels like playing a Litchi player. There corner loop combos are hella annoying.

ITG: Getting mad at characters for using their moves.

Seriously, there ARE ways to punish it. Wait for an opening and go in. It's not always very easy, but it's quite possible.

It's not worth wasting meter for some flashy air combo unless it's almost certain to kill them. It's called managing your magatama; something you need to learn to do if you wish to succeed with showing people your Haku-Mans.

buppa is really impressive, but one i dont understand is why he doesnt finish the air combo with hakumen.

thing is, hakumen cant do any combos other than to his command moves that require the balls cuz his attack buttons dont connect, from weak to mid to strong, so he could have used his balls to finish but he's just saving them for later

not always, dont you know the longer you do a combo the less damage it will be, if he does the air kick at the end of his combo, it wont deliver the same amount of damage if he does it in the beginning of his combo or he does the half circle back mid attack on the ground, just because you can finish a combo doesnt mean it will deliver effective damage, its better to use the balls in parts than all at once.

I didn't even notice, can't believe that because Megaman Zero is one of my favorite video game series . His sword slashes are even that bright green like Zero's saber. Damn this makes Buppa even more awesome.

He seems to be caught in a "defend defend defend" situation a lot, until the opponent messes up.

That's what makes him so awesome =) Rather than using a rushdown offense to open up opportunities for combos (like almost the rest of the cast =/) he can be played defensively to open up opportunities for combos. A pretty different character from the rest of the Blazblue cast.

iron tager is no potemkin :( ...... ill probably be going with either of these 2 characters when it comes out, rachel has a nice balance with close and long range attacks it seems and hakumen just looks cool

Who is this Hakumen? His character design reminds me a little bit of Justice, which is fantastic!!

Rachel is not underrated at all...she is considered second best in the game (in the current tierlists anyway).

Yeah, she's been pretty much the champ, haven't seen many who've beaten Rachel.

But damn, that Haku-men is probably one of the best I've seen. Doesn't have that many moves though..

Haku-men is somewhat like Robo-Ky.

He needs his meter (orbs) to be able to pull off specials. Unlike Robo-Ky, if he has no orbs saved up, he can't do any specials.

But then once he starts pulling off his attacks, his damage is equal to that of Iron Tager.

I never knew that Haku-men uses orbs though, so thank you for the info! It seems I've really underestimated the character.
