The discussion about homosexuality has already been had - the religious fundamentalists lost the argument miserably, and now they're pissed off.

How have they lost the argument, when the Bible is very clear, regarding homosexual behavior, even the New Testament? Romans 1:26-32, it calls homosexual acts to be shameful, or what about 1 Corinthians 6:9, which clearly states that practicing homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of heaven? The original word describing them is arsenakoitay, which is a coin word of arsena (men) and koitay (bed). You put it together and you get, menbedders or bedders of men. That's logical common sense.

I'm not arguing the point that the Bible says it's wrong. They lost the SCIENTIFIC argument miserably. The religious groups push an idea of homosexuality caused by childhood problems alone (which is completely false) and the idea that everyone can change (very few, if any, can). When there was actul discussion about homosexuality as a potential disorder, the majority of experts looked at the real science, rather than theirs.

That's probably NARTH you are talking about. This is a secular organization. All in all, I can say, that scientists cannot give a definite explanation of what causes homosexuality. It's complicated, to say the least, and it is not same for different people of this orientation.

In America; people of different opinions should have a right to express their views in public spectrums, such as public school. Therefore, if there is a group of people promoting homosexual sex and the school is fine with it, people who oppose homosexual sex should be reserved the same right. It's a simple principle of democracy, not hate.
