I still remember talking to the pilot prior to shooting this video,he said the demo area was pretty tight.. i never would of thought he would fly a heli that insane in that area. At the time he said he had been flying helis around 3 years! I-Hobby 2009 is in a few weeks,i hope theres a lot more coverage on youtube this year for those that cant attend..

Throttle curve 100% flat all across. My pitch is maxed out, I run as much as I can get with a little binding. On that flight I had the stock 450XL motor with the 13 tooth pinion and the ThunderPower 2200 Extreme v2 packs. I think the lipo packs make all the difference in the world.

The stock Align ESC works very well. I have now hundreds of flights with it and the Scorpion motor without any issues at all. Just make sure you run your throttle curve at 100%.

The cyclic and tail servos are using the BEC from the ESC, they work fine. I have tried the Jazz, it is an excellent ESC. If you can get one, you will like it very much.

On this video I was using the Futaba 401 gyro with the 9650 servo and Hitec HS-65MG cyclic servos. I'm now using the Spartan DS-760 gyro and Futaba 9257 servo.
