  • I can still remember the names of all of the VJ's who appeared on Much when we got cable in '88: Erica Ehm (very sexy), Laurie Brown, Steve Anthony, Christopher Ward, Michael Williams, and Kim Clarke Champniss (who did their Rockflash News segments). Do they even have VJ's (or for that matter, music videos) anymore?

  • back when mtv (and muchmusic) played music

  • Awesome vid... thanks - brings a lot of memories of back when it took a lot of talent to actually play music. Now it's all crap and so is today's MuchMusic.

  • como se llama el tema que suena de fondo?

  • - 1

  • i'll take the album thanks

  • If everyone who still has BETA tapes and can plug them in, we'd have more neat commercials uploaded like this.

  • There were more music videos shown in that 30-second clip than what MuchMusic/MTV programs in a whole year!

  • weird thing is, that's probably not even an exaggeration O_O

  • I'm glad that never happened. A Canadian subsidiary of MTV would've never focused on music scene in Canada as well as Much Music did.

Much used to be awesome back in the day, shame it all went to hell.

  • Goddammit that's a great commercial...

  • ahh, now this, for me, establishes how muchmusic and citytv were "family" back then...i mean, i can almost think mark dailey's voice would end this plug with the magic word: EVERYWHERE! :P

  • I mean really, tell me just WHAT Scott Baio has to do with music television?!

  • Ahhhh....remember when music video networks actually PLAYED music videos?

  • That's Mark Dailey voicing, no?

  • tis indeed, i should keyword him
