just found this band. pumped! hard to find good music these days. Eveyone that reads this should check out john frusciante solo music. some of the best music ever created
I used to see this band live in Cincinnati. Can't remember where but I do remember they were talented. Must've been drinking. Didn't even know they cut any CDs.
greg dully/twilight singers/gutter twins/etc are always in europe - seems like he tours there more often than the states! I caught him a couple years ago in chicago (twilight singers)
this grooves, and will be a buzz eventually. Personally, I love this song. I purchased this album, "Up in it", on sub pop in 1990. I saw them live in Tampa in 1990, and I hope for them the best.
thank you anatyo. I would have forgotten them it they werent unforgetable. yes. I remember seeing Greg Dulli giving cigarettes out to the people in the front row at the 1991 show in Ybor City, Florida.
It is so great to see this video - I have loved the Whigs for a long time and I still listen to them quite a bit - especially when I'm depressed or angry. It is also great to see the comments and to know that they have not been forgotten.
Awesome Julitesi! I saw the Afghan Whigs live at the State Theater,Ybor City, Florida, in 1991. I had this album a year before that, loved it. This is a delightful blast from the past for me, and still so good. They have stood the test of time as a very remarkable rock band.
This is the song that started it all for me with the AW.Way back when when i first heard this i knew, i just knew this band spoke to me. This song to me was even more influencial than Nirvana's big breakthrough song. Been following them since and onto the Twilight Singers. Thanks for posting this. Still a great song
Directed by the late, great Steve Brown, who directed a good number of the early sub-pop videos

I met Greg in The Green Room of The Jimmy Kimmel Show. He is my favorite musician from the most underrated band of all time. Cool, cool guy.

What album is this off? I've got Black Love, 1969 and Gentleman and this one is unfamiliar.
They were such an amazing band though and the Twilight Singers are awesome as well. Dulli can do no wrong in my eyes.

I love how puncy the rhythm guitar, bass and drums are. They really were the Rolling Stones of Sub Pop.
