  • 113 Days?!! On a Fucking Boat?!! Why not just take a Plane Dumb Ass!!! An anyone notice he was Driving without a License Plate? O.o I get to Slap you if you crash that Car :P

  • @itsbasil1126 ... Put the car on a plane? It's a transport ship. (And a really bad customs agent). No license plate as the car needs to be complied to Australian road laws before its legal, I had a permit for the day to drive it legally. And yes, you may slap me if I ever crash it.

  • nice.... its a rare car you got there.. cheers

  • Lucky son of a bitch!

  • any photos of under the hood? fire wall badge?

  • @fournier4life Once I get turbo a net back online it'll have all the photos - including the engine rebuild.

  • @turboa Haha just stumbled over this, hey champ haven't spoken in years. I miss my TurboA. I regret selling that thing, (for $16k in stock condition except wheels, for those who doubt their value)

  • i couldn't hear the car over the techno music.. but sweet car!

  • @BucSteven It's getting forged pistons, same turbo, new ecu (motec), ported, balanced, new cams (280 durration), aiming at 450rwkw.

  • DAMN. i hope you still have it sir

  • @BucSteven Sure do. Engine is getting built for more power. ;-)

    Love it.

  • @turboa What you plan to do with it? Im getting my mkiii soon and hopefully do either a 1jz or 2jzgte swap

  • Was it really worth 15 grand? I mean I have a 86 N/A supra and I love it, but then again it only cost me $2,500. Wish I had gotten a Turbo though...

  • @disturbedy0uth There are only 500 of these made. It's a group A spec. Also Australian dollars. Now worth more! :D

  • I'm jelly. Can't wait to get my Supra back running.

  • @RafaMK3Supra90 Good to hear. 'Hit harder' meaning more power, or earlier delivery... or both? (Very possible since this is a T78 running 1.2 bar)

Anyhow, link me to your car video, keen to see your beast.

At the moment this car doesnt run as the engines getting built for more power, so yes, your car would 'hit harder'.

  • Love the Turbo A's just love them, dream car for sure. I just found a Possible Turbo A here in Australia, im going to see if i can get it :) Might need some info off you Brian if that's ok?

  • whats turbo A exactly does it have the imprint of A on the turbo

  • @DanielleBarbe The A is from the fact it was built to race the group A racing championship, which was the world standard for production cars at the time.

  • @DanielleBarbe turbo A actually is a group of supra that were running on group A races..

  • kudos man 113 days what a wait...

  • $15000 .... WTF MATE! 0.o

  • I remember downloading this video before youtube

  • name of the music please?

  • @ryues 'The sound of fear' by hard house nation.

  • @ryues Its actually "Melt into the Ocean" but Cosmic Gate :)

  • Even rarer- a reliable 7m!! Nice work man. Always loved the mk3 supra. I was going to get a mk3 supra but with the 1jz in it since it would just be cheaper pwr the 1jz is reliable without touching it. I ended up getting a chaser (1jz) and a soarer (1uz supercharged). I'm a toyota nut. And I've gotta say I love the sound of the 7m and the turbo A is in my view a collectors item so hold onto it.

  • @panzerfaust375 I thought that 7M only had a problem with the head gaskets.

  • @wajalama

Yeah other then the head gasket issue it is suppose to be a decent motor. Well ahead of its time, plenty of technology poured into this motor BUT....when was the last time they made a 7m. We are talking about an engine that is generally getting long in the tooth. A mate was trying to find a decent second hand 7m so he could fix up the head gasket and have a good motor. Couldn't find one. All that was out there was rubbish. The 1jz on the other hand plenty in good condition for cheap.

  • Nice TurboA! Keep 'er clean!

  • agreed turn the music off totaly ruins it

  • i like my 88 supra . the muic ruins the sound u should take the music OFF!!!!

  • K bonito es este coche....

  • I got a 91 turbo. Wish I had one like that.

  • Turbo A = Rarer than the LF-A.

  • 1 of 500 produced TurboA`s . Nice.

  • it cost you 15,500 US dollars to ship it?? that thing better be balllllls to the walls hooked up for that kind of money...

  • turbo a /turbo r..who cares, its a supra, and its turbo!

  • turbo Rs are better

  • @carson0425 Each to his own. I'll keep mine.

  • @turboa Turbo-a > TTR.

I like torque, thank you very much.

  • i lovee your car! I have a 86 supra and i wana tune it out for drift!

  • Song?

  • WHAT A DUMB AS 15K? could of probaly got a M4 supra a decent on on EBAY.

  • @xxxEmmureOwnxxx Do some Research cockass 1988 Turbo A 1 of 500 7MGTEU. Way better than some shit MKIV. Go work on your honda

  • i wonder what happened to this car

  • @bakednoodle The engine is currently getting built for 450rwkw. :-)

  • @turboa hey dude alright car but my dad has a maroone 88 supra and he put a 93 2jzgte engine in it with a single turbo and front mount intercooler with cool air intake boost control and a buch of other stuff but it has like 600 horse ooohhhhh yyyeeeaaaaa if u want to see it search daves 88 supra on utube search bar its so sick

  • nice car man for real

  • my friend wanna buy his toyota supra 1988 for 3000 $ .. why urs costed that much ?

  • @bobzon007 it cost that much because its a special edition called the Turbo A, only 500 of them were ever made so that Toyota could use it in touring car championships.

  • does the 7m motor says '7mgte' on the timming cover?

  • oh wait it says turboa, didn't see that lmfao. How the fuck did u get one of those? I love my supra ;)

  • I'm sorry..isn't that an 89?

  • @speedytang4 ffffffaaaaaaaaggggggooooooot do some research

  • @MARooNSUPRaMK3 go fuck ur mom's eyeball LOLi corrected myself -.-

  • GREAT CAR <i have had one for a year its my baby , man i love it , but now its gone , cops towed it and i cant afford to get it , its like loosing a kid

  • i have an 88 toyota supra mk lll turbo myself but for that much money you mite as well bought a 92 or 93 turbo

either that or bought a 88 supra turbo and made the conversion your self

  • Look at the distance between US and Australia. Of course it costs more to import to Australia and our government charges us through the ass to bring it in too. And if you look at the year (2004) the Aussie dollar was worth shit then as the US dollar is worth now. With the amount of mods on this thing to get it to supposedly 300KW , in 2004 in Australia you would have been paying close to $30K. I myself have a one of these and was lucky to pick it up as the 3rd owner for $8000 last year.

  • i love your car

  • I'm giving up replying to all these ignorant comments.

For the last time: The 1988 Supra TurboA is a 1 of 500, the one I bought was including tax and shipping as I wanted one of these, the one I bought has massive upgrades, it was bought in Australian dollars. There are very few of these in US as they are ALL right hand drive as they were NEVER exported - just personal exports (and conversions).

  • @turboa Didnt know TurboA's had 89+ front end. Well worth the money, i love the car. Just please take care of her, absolute gem you have there

  • @turboa the reason people keep calling it an 89 is because the front end is an 89 front end.

  • @cvdub66 Yeah, I know. It was the 'face lift' introduced first with the TurboA. Mine was built in Sep 1988, obviously, just before they released the face lifted mark 3.

  • HOLY FKK!!! 113 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! & $15000?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did that include shipping??? My 1987 Toyota Supra Cost me $500 + 100 to get it towed. Sure the front leather seats are torn & Turbo is missing parts & the engine needs a rebuild but after all that it shouldn't come out more than $2000 u.s. dollars & that includes the 600 i spent on the car & towing. Man with $13000 i would get seats fixed & upgrade Turbo & fuel management.. Some day.. but im glad you got a badazz car.

  • its pretty funny how people that have no knowledge of cars watch these videos and talk shit about cars that they know nothing about. i doubt any mother fucker on this page, with the exception of 3 or 4 of you, even know what a Supra Turbo A is.

  • Here, in serbia u can buy one for about 3 grand in perfect condition.

  • @88888888211 Once again turbo As are rare and not cheap

  • @88888888211 U're right, i saw non turbo versions.

  • Beautiful car.. I don't think half the people commenting on it not being worth 15k have no idea what a turbo A is

  • 15k aus or 15k usd?

  • nice car mate turbo A looks sweet

  • that ain't worth 15,000. you can these cheap around here.

  • @mmcclain88 Where are you?

  • @mmcclain88 Turbo As are not cheap anywhere. Good luck finding one.

  • @MARooNSUPRaMK3 i already have a nice newish car, 04 sti, so i wouldn't waste my time looking for and old ass supra. plus my dad has a 94 supra tt, it's nice and in mint condition, so i don't get to drive it much, but it's there in the garage. it's more of a collectors car, and almost never leaves the garage.

  • @mmcclain88 sadly people will still consider a supra over your sti we had a silver 04 sti and yet beside my mr2 it looks just like another generic car and i dont deny the performance of the sti but this supra as many other old cars are more versatile in terms of build and setups than the sti.

  • @tempeztad That also has a lot to do with Subaru's 1-of-a-kind Systematic AWD system. It's not easy or cheap to make tem fast, that's why when I see an STi on the highway GETTING it hela fast, I know it's a rich guy, ha!

  • @mmcclain88 not a turbo a

  • @mmcclain88 your right, they are worth around 40 grand with 80xxx km on them. these cars are a big deal. one normal 1989 all stock with 26 000 kms on it was sold for 16k in the US last month..

@turboa congrads on the import, there was a turbo A for sale for 10 grand but it did not have the original motor in it. it droped the price wayy down. im assuming yours does by the way it pulls. nice job! double check the head gasket to see if it has bin torq down to proper spec. keep her on deck :)

  • pfff should have built it yourself. "Built, bot bought!"

  • @JamesCameron1 It's being built at the moment.

  • $15k?

    Wow, they saw you coming.

  • @bosszeroboss What country are you from?

  • @turboa

    I'm from Tokelau.

Please let me know if that's okay.

    Thanks.

  • The turbo A isnt an ordinary MKIII supra they are really hard to find.

  • @MARooNSUPRaMK3 and even in shitty condition they cost $10,000, fucking crazy

  • god loves a god damn 88 JDM supra

  • if that car is modded it well worth the money, the wheels look like advan rg plus that car is in mint condition i guess if he put the list of part we may have an ideaon how much is worth.

  • @tempeztad GReddy T78-33D turbo Aftermarket injectors TRUST front mount intercooler Bosch 404 fuel pump 4" Aftermarket exhaust Skyline GTR calipers OS Giken triple plate clutch Gold ADVAN RG 17" alloys (235/255) Aftermarket gauges - Oil temp, exhaust temp, air / fuel ratio and fuel pressure Strut tower brace Greddy shift knob Nardi steering wheel All power options and airconditioning (standard for turboA)
  • you don't mind to pay that much amount if its between you and your dream car i would do that as well.........

  • Paid $1,000 for mine and that was 7 years ago. Why so much? Must have been all shipping cause these cars sell for 1 to 3 grand in fine shape in the USA

  • @batmmannn 1 of 500 limited edition. It had 360BHP when delivered. Also google the Australian exchange rate.

  • Lucky lucky lucky man, just got my ma70, gen 39.000k's on the clock, know how you feel !! I knew a man who had a brand new au. delivered "turbo a" what a car, he headed a Toyota dealer at the time ......... prise you ask ....... $100000, you did well have fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that north haven and port adelaide? lol

  • @tolkaN0 Sure is dude.

  • @turboa lol thats like 30 seconds from my house :P

  • WOW 15 thousand you spent on this car in 2004 .. right now im looking at some really nice 91 supras same body type as the 88 for like 5 grand if that and next year it will be a classic ,,,but wow man u must be made of money paying 15k for this car

  • @DanielleBarbe A couple things; I bought it 6 years ago. I paid Australian money (google exchange rate). It's a 1 of 500 edition, not some standard Supra.

  • @DanielleBarbe You have no idea what a Turbo A is if you don't know why it is worth $15,000 do some research and you'll find that Turbo A's are legendary. The fastest car you could get from Japan at the time.

  • @MRIlls Thank You for telling me this, it has made me think differently I now no about the Turbo A I really appreciate it thanks soooo much. One thing tho I am not handy cap but you seem to think so .. so now im going to speak to you like im a smart ass .... TURBO A ... LEGENDARY .. YES you are right... At the time is the only problem you can find way more powerful engines throw it in this car and destroy people but i forgot not only am i handy cap i don't no what a Turbo A is durrrrhhhhhhhhhh

  • @DanielleBarbe You silly girl. I never thought you where a retard, just thought you should know it was no regular supra. Now you know better. there was no need to PMS about it. Pride issues? What ever the case, yeah now there many engines to drop in that car that will do a better job. However it's what it could do with what it had that made it so special.

  • @MRIlls Alrighty then i got the first half how i pms witch is something every women does?? but in your case you haven't seen pussy.. but whatever your saying in the other half of your paragraph makes no sense learn how to spoke:P

ps - stop typing because you'll make your self look more stupid :) just thought id let ya no

  • @DanielleBarbe XD wow your buttons are way too easy to push. As for my sex life, there is no shortage there. Not that you would know anything about that. sorry to get you so worked up. Have a nice life. :)

  • @MRIlls HA!

  • @DanielleBarbe think about it this way. 5000$ min to import. and prob cost 8000$ with its condition. and taxs. etc :D

  • I just passed up the opportunity to win a turbo a in auction. I should have bought it.

  • would like to see movie with no music rather hear car than this shit. Nice supra tho vary beautiful.

  • Turbo-A's where the fastest production cars back then

  • where did you ship it from and how much hp whats the upgrades? very nice! :)

  • Whats the difference in the Turbo A front steel bumper does it come with duct holes in it factory? What does the bumper metal part look like?

  • danm thats fuckd up

  • nice supra man, performs good too

  • Really nice!!

  • Awesome, this is my dream car too. It must feel awesome to own one.

  • I am sellin gmine... check out my channel I have a vid of it up :")

  • Dude i would have bought a mk4

  • fail

  • These cars love air-to-air intercoolers. You'll notice an increase in throttle response and more boost.

  • Lol, it was awesome when I drove my '87 T-top turbo Supra home. Man, I miss that car :( RIP Supra. It threw a rod.

  • @420witchdoctor a supra t-top ?????????? no way you must mean targa top or a rare sunroof

  • @kcarrera1 DIdn't say it was factory, did I? The glass tops came off a 1986 Camaro Z28 and the Supra's roof was modified to fit them. They sealed perfectly, too.

  • @420witchdoctor thats a sick car then

  • @kcarrera1 Hell yeah, I also had it sitting on 17" TRD's that were chromed out.

  • @420witchdoctor What mods to the engine does that sweet ride have

  • @kcarrera1 It had a knife-grinded crank, forged half-concave pistons (billet aluminum), MSD spark, Air Raid intake pipe (3-1/2") with a 3-1/2" throttle body. On 108 (two bottles of octane booster in each fillup, and I only gas up when I'm running low, and fill. Connoco-Phillips made fuel only) it ran happy from 11.255 to 11.730. I wish I still had my paper trail on the car, because I'm forgetting soo much. Unfortunately, my memory card on my camera pooped. Oh well, it was sick.

  • @420witchdoctor sounds like a monster! what happened to it?

  • @turboa My buddy Paul put it into a ravine and broke his pelvis and back, and thecar was totalled. I barely saved a couple of the parts. It's alright, I have a 1971 Datsun 521 pickup now. I'm going SR20 in it.

  • @kcarrera1 T78 turbo, 044 Bosch fuel pump, HKS Forged pistons, Extra injectors (x6). Outside of the engine; GReddy intercooler, GReddy Controllers (Boost, fuel and fuel map), 3" dump pipe, triple plate clutch and the rubber is 235 front, 255 rear.

  • i have a 91 supra turbo stock with that weird looking sprinter distributor cap insert( what ever they called it). and the turbo fan are bigger than the rest junk yard turbo i've ever seen. they all have 5 blades which mine is 6. what the hell??? can any body tell me about what type of model i have?? and the owner said is has 270 hp stock??? im curious..tell me any body???

  • RHD so u knw its real

  • this is a late 88+

  • that or they converted the tail lights

  • It was made September 1988.

TurboA were *some* of the first to have the 'face lift'.

  • Comment removed

  • saw this car at a drift day a AIR, we had alittle chat about it, very tuff car, sucks u dont see cars like yours much anymore on the streets of Adelaide:(

  • Engine is currently being built. You will see it again one of these days.

  • hey ur is nice. mine is the same thing too is black with light or dark grey fabric seats. and does ur stock has that sprinter look on your distributor cap and 6 blade stock turbo fan??? because mine has it and im curious what type of model is mine?? and the seller told me that is a 270 hp stock supra??? is that right..please tell me any one!!!!

  • i would have left it stock. u got the rarest mkIII made man. dont go overkill on it.

  • Bought with mods. Yes, I agree, they should be left stock - but since mines already modded why not go nuts! :D

  • That's a 1988? I have an 88 but different facia, looks like a 1990 or 91 / 92 to me.

Cheesy song, nice car, please edit the clip, and we wanna see what's under the hood.

  • fvck i wanna hear the car, not the music :(

  • Sorry dude. I'll edit up a clip with just the car for ya.

  • that would be sweet, thnx

  • test drove my supra on tuesday of this week :D I get it within the next 2 weeks

  • sexy lookin car man, im gettin my mk3 next month

  • Really clean looking car, the wheels are a good match to

    Was the mk3 never imported?

  • This is a turboA - it never was imported.

  • btw, sexy car.. im gettin a 88 7m-gte next month im stoked on :D

  • fart can is huge

  • It's a 3" exhaust with a 4" tip and doesnt make much noise - no fart noises, thats for sure.

  • Wow man your supra is CLEAN! So I'm guessing you don't pass emissions which makes it illegal? And how are you going to build the motor up?

  • is that a 1jz supra right??

  • 7M-GTEU

    Supras were 7M until the 1990 Mk3s.

    87-88 - 1G-GTE

    88-89 - 7M

    90 + 1JZ

  • Die Hard Supra Man--Nuff Respect!

  • damn that turbo A is nice hows it running now? where did you get is shipped from?

  • It was shipped from Yokahama. The car is currently having the engine rebuilt due to a bad mechanic, the car isn't legal as it is and I want more power.

  • Its a generation thing. I drive an 85 944 and an 85 supra and people my age and younger don't like them. But people older then me remember them, and like them. Makes sense to me.

  • I am 17, just bought a 1991 Supra. I fucking love it.

  • im 18, got 89 supra turbo fucking love it too!!!

  • I'm 16. I'm lucky enough that my first car is a 1986.5 Supra. Stick shift also. ^^

  • Nice looking car. Why are such nerds always attracted to this car? He looks like he should drive a Neon or Iroc with a mullet.

  • lol. It's good call, I do work in IT.

Screw the Neon and Iroc; I love the technical side of the turbo and I love the power and handling of the Supra.

  • 1988 supra or 1998 supra..whats is better....looks i say '98...

  • what is the name of the song, great car

  • So is from the Sound of Fear mix (CD 2). It's a remix of 'Melt into the ocean'

  • nice find turbo A really rare to fine one

  • thats a great car! one pretty similar has been cruising around my area lately.

  • you got ripped off....

  • ? how so.

  • they did change the tail light but both versions are swapable. ive swaped my 87 taillites that are like the ones shown here that for the lights that go all the way across.

  • rofl theres 1 in the the add $1600 us dollars shud i get it? and theres a 1996 supra $16000 us dollars
