I remember laying on my bed on a bright sunny day while day dreaming. The sunlight that shone in from the window's blinds gave such a nice heavenly effect, and I just relaxed. Then I got surprised by the music that sailed in from nowhere, I was so confused. "Did this thing have music before?!" It was so peaceful I layed there with it playing softly until I dozed off into a nice sleep. Now whenever I want to relax I just lay still and play this. Haha! XD

All of the yoshi music just connects so deep into your heart it makes you remember all the good times you had and even some of the bad. But what it really does is make you wish: If only yoshi was real. Any ways this music is good but not as good as the original

I love this! It's sort of taps into our childhood memories of playing the original SNES version as kids, and now, 11 years later, we're playing the sequel. Reminiscing of old times before continuing the story. I love it when game/movie creators can do that (good example: Toy Story 3)

I actually like the title screen music I don't know why so many people are letting their nostaligia goggles blind them. I mean the Title screen music is certainly one of the few good music tracks in this game. I swear too many people cling to the past and thats why they can never find anything good about new stuff. I mean I can at least appreciate this game espcially after thje disaster that was Artoon's last attempt Yoshi Topsy Turvy.

Ya can really feel relaxed while listening to this it's one of those easylistening tunes. Now the whole differnces between Yoshi's Island& Yoshi's Island DS are not that far away from each other. I'm not gonna go into huge details but Yoshi's Island 1&2 does have there similaraties. 2 obviously being a sequal they added other babies, new music and a actual storyline. But 2 didn't change all the way if tooken notice and played both. Don't get me started on Yoshi Touch&Go though

If you think Touch & Go is bad then you've obviously not had the chance to play Yoshi Topsy Turvy (aka Yoshi's Universal Gravitation) thats even worse. Since I could hardly get the tilt sensor to work right with My DS or GBA, the missions are hard and not the fun kind of hard the tedious "I want to get past this part to move on already" kind of hard I was constantly trying to accomplish some missions only to fail again and again. Not to mention its even worse when *2bcont.*

*Continued* its even worse when you're playing in a car since handheld games are ment to be played almost anywhere but with Me living in San Deigo County and family members being all over the county the constant moving around in a car really messes you up. Also I only ever beat the first boss and only got a little further before getting stuck on the harder missions because they figure forcing you to do the tasks before letting you move on and not just choosing to reach *2bcont.*

@sora1995KH I thinks he means it as: The theme for the GBA version was also the same for the 1st release of this game back in good old 1995 for the SNES. So, this is the 3rd time this game has been released, and they decided to change the opening theme. Hope that helps.

Actually from what I learned Super mario World was just the localized name for the game in Japan (at least from what i can recall) Super mario World is actually called Super Mario Bros. 4 and Yoshi's Island in Japan is simply titled Super Mario: Yoshi's Island, note how the word World is not in the title? anyways this is just what I remember reading on the internet, I even saw what the soundtracks were called at Galbadia Hotel which use official video game soundtrack names as they are in Japan.

Even if I liked the first one better, it's still Yoshi, so it doesn't matter. The thing I didn't like about it though, was that the levels were LONG, but the bosses were a joke, seriously. Espescially the first boss. WTH... But that's only me, cuz I played the first one, and I thought the bosses were harder.
