@MrKrissdekaliss, I agree. Frankie is great to watch as a solo dancer, but when he has to partner up with someone? Forget it. He makes it seem like he can barely tolerate having to partner dance. You're also right that Nancy Ortiz seems to be the only salsera that doesn't tolerate the "too cool for this" mess he pulls.
He's a fabulous mover but not a pairs dancer. He has one interest and one interest only: showcase himself, his body, his moves (his clothes). The girls are tolerable accessories. The only one that I have seen so far who stands up to him and doesn't give a shit about his antics is Nancy Ortiz. Which makes me think: I'd like to see what Magna Gopal would do with him...

no matter how good of a leader you are...legend or not ...which frankie is ...he should never like totally abandon the girl...its about the girl in salsa...ALL THE TIME...he just looks disinterested after that misconnection
can't frankie dance on 1? the guy's a legend he should be able to switch between the 2 no probs. I think she was just nervous cause there were like 15 cameras on em and literally a big spotlight. who the hell was shining that spotlight on em?!?!

I don't see the girl doing anything wrong apart from one minor mistake. For some reason Frankie is taking it easy. Infact, he is fond of doing that. I have seen this girl dance with SuperMario and she did just fine... lol.
It depends on what you call "minor mistake". Her moves show she can dance well but this dance was awful, i can easily feel Frankie, i was many times in such situations. Probably she was nervous, probably she doesn't dance on2, probably she heard this song in another way than Frankie (who knows) but that was not dance in a pair. Every time Frankie tried to lead her he found her standing on a wrong leg.
It probably is not really a mistake at 01:22 when Frankie stops what seems like a continuation to the CBL turn. I don't see where she is ever on the wrong foot. Frankie is a pro and when you freestyle then the lady does the same so you have to know when to pick her up for the next move. Don't tell me Frankie does not know how to do that. Frankie loves to dance solo very often. I have seen this lady dance on1 and on2 with Mario... Oh well, no big deal..
He should've danced by himself...A great lead would always make the lady look good...She looks foolish!!
