@abcdefcaravan Hell yeah Hong Xiu Quan (canto: Hung sau Cheung) the Tai Ping Rebellion leader and most of the people in the Tai Ping Nation during Qing Dynasty were Hakka. We should have Hong xiu Quan's descendants come back to to create another Taiping Rebellion

My father is Hakka and my mother is cantonese. I feel proud to to Hakka. Last time when I travel KL (Year 1980) most of the KL people speak Hakka but now different. All follow Hong Kong tv show. Now, most of them speak Cantonese. I feel very sad about that. Our grand parent root missing.
although i'm a cantonese, i speak hakka to my siblings and parents since the day i first speak. to me, hakka is the best dialect among all.... hakka food is nice... HAKKA i love u....
My mom's side speak hakka.. ever since im small i listen to them speak.. but till now, i only understand but dont know how 2 speak.. however, im proud 2 be even 1/4 of hakka people ^^
i used to be fluent in hakka but after learning english at 3, it's been hard for me to speak. i still try to speak now with my grandparents so that i won't loose my hakka side.
the easiest language to learn n understand eventho i am not a pure Chinese... love to learn other dialect aswell as hokkien, cantonese n mandarin etc..
Hi there! I'm from Hong Kong. Born and raised there. My childhood experience with the Hakka people were vague. I am almost 100% Cantonese, but my grandma's side is Hakka. I speak Mandarin and Cantonese, and just started teaching myself Hakka but don't know much yet. In the past, I heard bad things about Hakkas which I don't understand. Why hate Hakkas? After talking with some Hakka folks, I learned their work ethic and admire it. I think we can all be better off learning the way of the Hakkas.
I'm a 2nd generation out of China living in Canada and I wish I had learned Hakka. I've been searching online for a instructional cd or something to try and learn but no luck. It would be nice to learn some of my history. Currently know more Cantonese and Mandarin than Hakka.
that's the good thing about living in malaysia... if u have the heart u can by heart any language u wan.. I m Sarawakian Sea Dayak Iban I can also speak Cantonese, Mandrin & Hakka. 客家人!!!!! (Salute) :)
Not really different, just a dialect in accent and slang. In Taiwan, some parts speaks the same accent as I. The same as with Hong Kong. Mine is SING ONN Khak. The other two I know is HO POH KHAK and TAI PU KHAK (slight different in pronounciation..) U from Brazil?? U chinese??/
U r welcome... I was born and grew up in brunei so my accent when i speak it will be a little slightly off hahaha.. n now since i moved to Kuala Lumpur and started to learn and speak cantonese more.. I have a huge Cantonese slang and accent input to it.. luckily my family can still understands me hahaha. take care bro..
well i am living your dream, i can speak mandarin cantonese hakka hokkien english and malay....i am a proud malaysian tats why most of us can speak a variety of language..

My family and clan consist mostly of Punti (Hakka?)speakers.l now learn to know more about this Punti language.I now in Sarawak,a state of Malaysia.
