Pre season is the best time to go. Cheaper rates and no annoyingly huge families with their kids running around. Especially having such a beautiful place almost to yourself (there was no one in the video, how great is that!) and having some fun in the pool at night is never a bad thing :)

I went to Venice for 9 days in April and the weather was quite warm, around 23 degrees or so, and my boyfriend and I kept commenting on the clothing of the Italians too! They were all really dressed in jeans or trousers and closed shoes, jackets, all that type of thing... no bare legs or arms! I couldnt understand it. Now I'm starting to think Italians have some sort of sophisticated internal body-temperature control system...
