@Athenesword14 That's part of the point of it, if you watch the broadway or west end casts they effectively act along with the puppets. That's intentional. People are so focused on the puppets anyway, I actually heard the guy sitting next to me (in the UK touring version) asking his friend "who the fuck is that guy? I didn't notice him on stage." when Chris Thatcher (Nicky/Trekkie/bad idea bear) came on for his curtain call. As a stage tech I think this is a good version of it (for a school).
Avenue Q is a brilliant musical but I have to say (now this is only my opinion) the harmonies aren't great, it sounds a bit shout and the operation of the puppets is a a bit poor, they look like they (the puppets) are lieing down all the time, but otherwise a good effort :)

@SpinneyBigBird1095 Yeah I doubt this'd fly if they did it on Sesame Street andif the Avenue Q cast were guests there (since Muppets don't swear) but since Sesame Street has like a gazillion puppets while Avenue Q has only eleven I guess some characters including AM's and monsters would make a decent ensemble, what do you think SpinneyBigBird1095?
Well being a method actor myself, I understand truthful acting and compared to a farce. Avenue Q is a farce. A farce calls for a bit of overacting to an extent, with truthful behavior, but being a farce, it will be a bit over done. That is my opinion at least. As for the puppets, they are the oldest model of the puppets so I agree with you there. Other than your last opinion, which I fully appreciated, I hope you enjoyed the video.
@evitangel Method acting? Oh dear. Do yourself a favour and get yourself a teacher who teaches ALL of Stanislavski's principles, not just the emotional memory stuff. You do know it's a really limiting and confusing method, don't you? Stanislavski himself all but abandoned it as he went on in his career.
