19s is from handling mode. Bugatti said 16.7s is from topspeed mode. No test have conducted the veyron on topspeed mode.
ya 10.4 is a far cry from 0-300kmh of ~7.8s in 2004-2005.Just 2.4s faster than SSC aero and 2.8 henessey venom.With the new inline 4 in 2014, Formula 1 cars are getting slower, eventually supercars will catch them up.

F1 does 0-300 kph in 10.4 and 0-200 mph in 13.3 seconds? Agera R respective times are 14.5 and 17.7 seconds....
