Even though "Imagine" gets more coverage, I like this song as the most lovely, heartfelt and representative of Lennon's compositions. It has that kind of jerky beat that he used so often in other songs like "All I've Got to Do", "Anna" and "It's Only Love". This came out when he was only 25 years old. George Martin's baroque solo is priceless and the other Beatles' voices in harmony are so lovely. Of all of John's beautiful compositions and collaborations, I think this one gets to me the most.
