Pads are fine for protecting yourself, but padded pads and clothing are for cheaters who don't want to get called out. Tech PB guy is a powergamer and a metagamer who doesnt mind having an unfair advantage over casual players. Who knows why tournaments and fields allow padded clothing when it isnt freezing outside.

PE elbows are my favorite. I use proto knee pads because they were cheap and they fit. They aren't adjustable though so I use duct tape haha.
