I've heard about Dell giving you a 720p screen even when you order the 1080p panel... How do I make sure that I get my $200s worth? Any way of telling the resolution apart from sight of course?

@Winterbyte Don't know where that rumor comes from, but Dell definitely supplies whatever you order. You can check in the system information too.

@salmanhayyan: Definitely the 1080p is much better. I am a regular contributor on the notebookreview forums and from what I have heard the 720p is a mixed bag. Some people say its good, some say it isn't. No complaints on the 1080p so far. It's excellent for movies and productivity. The best screen on general consumer laptops so far.

Hello buddie, I got this laptop but when I record a video, there is some kind of continous sound intereference on the background, I mean, the sound is not clean. It looks like your record has a very clean sound. Do you have any idea why this happens with my laptop? Im also using dell sofware to record. Thanks

@gonzalox3m : Actually I have the same small interference in the background too. You can notice it on my Bose headphones review video. From what I see it only happens when you select the 1280x720 H.264 HD recording option and not the others.

@amousattat i am not entirely sold on the multi touch pad so i disabled multi touch and use it as a regular one instead.

can you adjust the CAM to lower resolution so when you do video chat toyr friend on the other end won't have interruption in the video..?because the higher the resulotion the better video quality but it requires a high speed internet in both ends ..

@amousattat Yes you can. HD webchat is by default disabled on all web chat clients because of bandwidth restrictions.

when i made the order the estimated delivery date was Dec,14th but as i said i just got it now on Dec,1st..
