@SergeantMELON removing something from the dock doesnt remove it from your hard drive. all your applications should be in your application folder.

i accidentaly draged the "macintosh hd" out of my finder on to the desktop for it to make an icon and it got deleted, can you please tell my how to get it back?

@xx3ric912xx open any folder and in the search bar type "macintosh hd" and the drive should appear. take this icon and drag it to the list on the left. :) or if you go to your desktop and press [apple]+[,] on your keyboard it should give you options to display your drives on the desktop. hope that helps.

@TurtleKakashi and also if u know or anybody knows, if you have a macbook pro, do u have to charge it for a long time so it brakes in the battery so it reaches its full potential? since its supposed to have a 10 hour battery and im only getting like 4 or 5 hours out of it

@xx3ric912xx Yeh u shud max out your charge the first few times. Try to re calibrate it for now and see if that helps. One of my videos shows u how to do that. I have the new macbook pro now too :)

@xx3ric912xx Use the battery until its completely dead so that even if u press the power button it wont turn on. Leave it for a bit then give it an overnight charge..

@51nachoman sorry i dont understand your question.. if your looking for specific files you should use the spotlight search to find them. its the small magnifying glass on the top right corner.

This tutiorial is amazing thanks again i have just got my first mac and i will never go back to windows i mean for example my mac has everything first time i turned it on it found my wireless network and has bluetooth so i can just send things back and too plus a built in camera no more looking foe drivers like windows....thanks for the tutorial

in this video im using screenflow which is pretty nifty but nowadays i just use quicktime X as it now has screen record features. and yeh you should wait till they update the macbook line in january.

its a browser thing.. safari 4 should have it (click the grid button on top left). The particular thing im using is called "fast dial" which is an add on to firefox browser. And welcome to the mac family my friend =o)
