Khanh đã đúng lắm...Simon và Garfunkel viết và hòa âm "new version" ... năm 1966-67. Simon ghi lại tân nhạc sau khi học cuả "Martin Carthy" ...còn bản dân ca "original" đã có từ 1600's.
Tôi được nghe "Scarborough Fair" trong phim "The graduate" vào năm 1968.

This song were writen by Simon and Garfunkel named "Scarborough Fair" in the movie The Graduate - 1967 (@ that time I was VN student in the US. I think Pham Duy(?) translated it to Vietnamese. It becames a sad but lovely love song. The Vietnamese version lyrics are very poetic. It is very hard to translate it back to English. Check out French version (1969?) Chèvrefeuille Que Tu Es Loin or English version Scarborough Fair.

i dont think Simon and Garfunkel are the original composers, they only added the canticle lyrics and cover it. It was written long ago

@bataviase : Its a love story about one little boy who loved the little girl whose house was near his one. Their houses had one same flower garden. Time passed, and they was from each other, The garden and their love, now, just in the memory...
My english is limited, so i just overview the lyric for you :)
