  • Go Andreas :)

  • it's so funny watching a video about my dad on youtube! :)

  • What a nice video. And very beautiful pictures of Copenhagen - lovely city.

  • It seems to be a good fun to play and sing in the opera :))

  • @delauge it is!! :)

  • what's the song playing at the beginning it's great.

  • Composer and singer Andreas Scholl. He made it for the audidobook "der Kaiser und die Nachtigall" (= The emperor and the nightingale) in 2005 for the annivarsary of Hans Christian Andersen. This track is ´"Du kleiner lieblicher Goldvogel singe doch"

  • @CinclusCinclus Do you know how to find that?

  • @davidklausa Bought it several years ago from Amazon.de. Label is Deutsche Gramophon Literatur no 06024 9869422 (0)

  • Tuva's Italian enunciation is impeccable. Andreas' voice sounds great coming from behind the camera. I love listening to all the different accents. You can get a pretty good feel for the rhythms of each speaker's native language. A good way to learn a language. Fun video.

  • ¿Cómo se llama el tema musical con el cual se inicia este video? Por favor, me gusta mucho y no sé cómo se llama, ni cómo encontrarlo

  • No estoy segura pero deberia ser parte de la opera, Partenope.

  • How long did you rehearse this opera?

  • Many thanks to the director of this video! Not only for this lovely documentary, but for making the most beautiful music I have ever hear in my life! Andreas, I saw you in "Messiah" last month - your performance of "He was rejected" left me literally at the foot of the cross. I am looking forward to your Carnegie Hall performance in May. With thanks and admiration from Connecticut, USA.

  • I do not know if you ever read this - Andreas, you are absolutely the greatest of all! I go to your every London concert! Next concert is in March 2009 and I cannot wait to hear you again! I have got a question - you perform sometimes Purcell's arias - have you got any plans to record a cd dedicated to Purcell? Luv, Karolina

  • You're right, enchanting Purcell's music could never be more pleasing than if sung by Andreas.

Francisco Negrin deserves a laurel crown for directing this play, especially, what I liked best, for the Voglio amare part. They call this dramedy (at least when talking about Hollywood stuff), the coexistence of the dramatic and the comic perception of the same plot or the same event. And I love it!

Dear Andreas and all you guys out there, may I wish you a very happy New Year!

  • Andreas: I don't know if you'll ever read this or if you celebrate it, but I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

  • Filma Andreas Scholl¨?????????????

  • Thanks for sharing it.

I wish I could went. Too far. :'(

  • I was at the premiere and Andreas had a cold. You should have heard the reaction of the audience when they thought he'd be replaced! But he sang, albeit with a little less volume and stamina than usual. The big surprise was countertenor Cristophe Dumaux, he was really good.

  • I envy you. But it's not a surprise at all if Christophe Dumaux sings really well...

  • I just got back from the premiere. Thank you for a fantastic evening!!!

  • Sure this is great but Javascript has stopped running on my computer. Unimpressed with the operating system. Hope all your preparations are going well. Best wishes from NI.

  • Oh, it is very interesting to see you in other position than the singer! Greetings, Filip Holacky

  • beautifully made video andreas. so good to see what goes into these productions (although i know this is just a very small portion!) - i look forward to more! hug, claire karoly
