  • So I have a question. I've worked out previously before for a long time but go to class and work and such so I've let it fall by the wayside for a few months and have lost a lot of my fitness. I'm wanting to get heavily into bodybuilding and want to sign up for your online fitness training, however, since I feel like I'm not in the "Advanced" category of training I'm not sure if I should to Plan 3 or Plan 4. Could you give me some advice on this?

  • keep up the good work tuan, i can already see the change in ur body from powerliftin mode to shred mode haha in this short time, very nice

  • hes the best man. for real. wish i could afford all that

  • damn your arms were pumped in that video! should have closed with a double bicep shot ; )

  • all of your lifts are incredible, but with a normal powerlifter the ratios from bench to deadlift and squat are usually different. Have you just always favored upperbody or did you have a knee problem or something?

  • squatting 500lbs ain't a joke; what you talking about knee problems for? you could walk an entire city and not find a single person that can do a legit 500lbs squat

    tuan is the man!

  • @TraumaER oh i know squatting 500 lbs isnt a joke, im not putting tuan down in any way. As you can see i said "all of your lifts are incredible" but i hope you can understand what i'm saying. Most powerlifters who are squatting 500 lbs normally have a 300-350 bench. With his bench being so high I was just wondering if there was a reason for his squat and deadlift being only so much higher, again still being incredible lifts.

  • most powerlifter use suits, shirts and wraps in their competition. I compete in the RAW division where you can not use such tools. Now I am not sure if you saw that or not but are you also a RAW lifter?

Also, for my personal best lifts, they are

    Squat 600

    Bench 402

    Deadlift 551

Most individuals with a high bench nomally do not have a high deadlift and vis versa because of the build of their bodies. I had to work hard to get my deadlift up.

  • no the numbers i posted were what i got geared in a meet at the Naval academy about a month ago. And as for your build, i never really paid attention but i guess you're arms are a tad shorter than most, impressive lifts nonetheless.

  • @TraumaER and as for walking an entire city, only reason I asked was because there are a couple people including myself on my schools powerlifting team that are squatting close to if not 500+ (im only 450 :\) with a 300-350 (me 300) bench.

  • @InexplicableRage - Dude, not everyone is the same. His ratios aren't far off at all. I'd say his Squat and Bench are about equal, maybe the Dead is a bit low by comparison. But everyone has their strengths/weaknesses !!!!

  • @MikeDunn yes i know everyone has their strengths/weaknesses, if you look at the first comment I made i acknowledge that fact and ask if there is a reason why.

  • if you have shorter arm people do better at the bench press vs longer arm people. Just like longer arm people have better deadlifts. if you have short legs and a long torso, you will have a better squat than deadlift. if you torso is short and you have long legs, you deadlift will be better. understand the different body types will help you understand what you have to work on to improve your 3 lifts.

1460 lbs total weight lifter in a RAW (no shirts, suits or wraps) is not bad

  • dont think in any way i was calling what you lift bad, if anything i think i called it extremely impressive. You've worked hard for what you have, and it shows.

  • im impressed tuan.

for days now, i've been thinking about turning to the dark side, the non-natural side.

I'm pretty disappoint at the results I'm not getting, but busting my ass hard to achieve them. I feel it's mainly in the diet, because the gym part is easy. I love to life weights but time isn't on my side....i don't really want to have the physique i want when i'm 30+ .

my genetics are pretty terrible too..:(

  • keep up the good work.

  • awesome job,

  • ALRIGHT!! UH represent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go coogs! Tuan, are you ever going to attend a UH football game? We're coming up now

  • your work is inspiring and motivating i wannaa look like you :q ....do u have a facebook profile? ....keep it up bro

  • Lots of people look good on paper, but that's it...they can't preform. You not only look good and can preform, in person, but look good on paper too...so, your credentials on the wall are worth much more than just the paper their written on!!!

  • Yeah I never really noticed how big his arms were till lately.

  • That was so fantastic, Tuan. Thanks for posting.

    The B.A. and the Body.

  • omg so gorgeous!

  • ok tuan im confused, so is that fitness centre thing owned by u ?

  • I just work out of the gym as an independent trainer and nutritionish. BONA Fitness is owned by someone else

  • how long did goes in university for all those diploma ??Btw you shouldn't work in a gym , if you would working in you're own office, you'd make way more money because you can charge higher price w/o giving % to the gym, for exemple poliquin's trainers, when they have their own office can charge around 500$ for 12 week, training ,diet ,biosignature ..so you would make more money bro! sorry for my english btw i'm from quebec.

  • @roughneckasian nice man where ae u located again ?

  • It's called BONA? ................. wow. LOL

  • shit, your arms are like, really big.. O_O
