Can i just say that i have had banjo kazooie now for about 7 years, and i found the "Stop N Swap" things about 3 years ago, then I actually completed the game to 100% and found out that the "Stop N Swap" would only be a part of Banjo Tooie..... (which indecently i don't actually own for the N64)...... I was not best pleased so i hope that when i get Banjo Tooie, that it is a satisifying enough)

So all the eggs in BK work in BT as Moves and in N&B as vehicle parts correct? (as in dual purposed) I thought you had to get the eggs from BT in order to get the parts in N&B lol like you pay it forward from collecting in BK --> turn in and collect others in BT --> and theen you could get the crates in N&B. @BanjoKazooieROCKZ If you haven't found out yet, there are tons of places online now where you can find the codes to access the items. Keep in mind though that if you enter the codes, the effects are permanent on your copy of the game unless you have a gameshark code to reset them. It affects all of your save files and they will remain unlocked even if you delete your files. In other words, if you want to preserve your data in the way you now know it, use a ROM for SNS.

@KandiKareBear ok. Right when you enter the gaame and your in Jinjo village. Go right. And I think theres an egg over there. Or maybe the key. I dont remember. But the other eggs are in spiral mountain inside the waterfall youll see the B&K game, go all the way up in the waterfall past the BK game and use Z and A to do that one jump and bnjo should grab onto an edge. second egg you have to use grenade egg over by the Rare boxes and speedy shoes. if you look up youll see a crack in the wall.

I hate dragon kazooie. You have unlimited fire eggs but you don't need to use them that much and you have a lot of blue eggs and even more if you put the cheat in. And she has a annoying voice and the fire thing isn't that great.

I just want the friggn Ice Key. I was so upset when I downloaded Banjo-Tooie on Xbox and went where it used to be.. then found out they moved it back to BK XD
in banjo kazooie it is for nothing, but in banjo tooie, you can get moves and dragon kazooie, and in nuts and bolts, the eggs and key unlock vehicle parts.

They didnt cancel it..... the new models of n64 made it so stop and swop wasnt possible in new model n64's and it would be dodgy with only half them working.
When I played the game that ice key drove me nuts! It's not until recently that I've been reading up on it and it was a feature that was left incomplete in the game.
i went back to look and went it the whale cave. and saw that the ice key door was gone and i could just walk in. a got the ice key and kazooie said to save it for later. holy shit, how did the door open for the key. i went exploring all the other worlds like gobis valley. and behind the sphinx, that door imposible to open was open and the blue egg was in there i found all the eggs today wut havent even went to the roof to fight gruntilda.
when i was playing today i just finished the gurntys furnace fun quiz i went through the credits and when you go back to kill her there is that honeycomb room before you get sent up i needed one more jiggie cuz i forget one only in freezy peak.
if i ever met a genie and she gave me 3 wishes one would be for her to tell me what the hell are those damn eggs for .......and another would be megan fox
stop N swop was finally revealed if u have the banjo kazooie arcade game for 360 and found the ice key and eggs u would use them to unlock items in banjo kazooie nuts and bolts it was revealed from rare itself
I don't think Rare knew what they were doing when they implemented this. They implemented them and said "Let's use this for later". The technology didn't work so they scrapped it. I don't think they had anything special in mind. Just saved it for the future and didn't know what to do with it when that time came. Too much fuzz about all this, it's just a game! :P
they do knew exactly what they were doing that nintendo suddendly changed the 64 model is not their problem they could in theory have wrote a code line to seek previous data on the external memcard
do you even research? earlier 64's had a lag when you removed the cartidrage so you had time to put it in once again that means that you could remove BK BT and get the stop 'n swop as rare originally palnned int he end nintendo sligthly modified the 64's so after a sec you 64 would freeze the game, rare could have opted to use the memcard of the 64 to actually use stop 'n swop.
Do you think it's a good idea to build a feature of a game around a console glitch? They could have used the memory card but they chose not to. These eggs and the ice key are just objects within a game without a purpose. Meant to be used for something that Rare didn't know what it was at the time and later chose to scrap. A good way to keep things a mystery and get some free PR.

Stop 'N' Swop is totally overrated IMHO. I mean aside from it's development-and how it could have had something to do with Donkey Kong 64-all it was, was a somewhat cool feature (mostly because it was legendary even in the game) with a one-way swap that would activate in-game prizes in Banjo-Tooie (which were most likely put in, in some form in one way or another) the beta levels are what interest me, or any beta Banjo-Kazooie thing for that matter.
nobody knows yet thats why there is so much hype about it and nobody knows why rare didnt let everyone know what its for but maybe i think its because bk would lose all its hype if the mystery was solved or maybe rare knows a way to hack and find the secret so they are waiting to see if we find it

you can get the ice key again in Banjo Tooie, and the rumor behind "stop n swap" was that Rare designed the game so that when you had your stop and swap inventory up, (like at the beggining of this vid) you had to pull out the game (with the console still on) and quickly replace it with Tooie, and your supposed to be able to hatch the eggs at heggys, but, its all fake, all it does is mess up your console. They eggs and key in this game don't do anythign, there just really kool.

This is real! how do I know? I copied the codes your supposed to enter to gain access to the eggs and the key. it worked! I got the ice key and eggs. no hacks! and when I went to the game totals there was a menu that said Stop 'n' Swop! ^^

nice music dude. The key is freezezy peak, inside the walruss' cave. You have to transform into a walrus first so the fool goes inside his cave, then turn back into banjo and go in there. Its where you get the orange jinjo fools

for ice key in banjo tooie you go to glitter gulch mine, and i believe in a certain cave in the water theres a kazooie face rock where u can use the kazooie torpedo on, then u go in and ur in hailfire peaks area with a giant safe, u go near it and ice key opens it and mega glowbo is inside

in banjo kazooie it is for nothing, but in banjo tooie, you can get moves and dragon kazooie, and in nuts and bolts, the eggs and key unlock vehicle parts.

They didnt cancel it..... the new models of n64 made it so stop and swop wasnt possible in new model n64's and it would be dodgy with only half them working.

freezeezy peak: snowman half melted
treasure trove cove: not there at all

i went back to look and went it the whale cave. and saw that the ice key door was gone and i could just walk in. a got the ice key and kazooie said to save it for later. holy shit, how did the door open for the key. i went exploring all the other worlds like gobis valley. and behind the sphinx, that door imposible to open was open and the blue egg was in there i found all the eggs today wut havent even went to the roof to fight gruntilda.

stop N swop was finally revealed if u have the banjo kazooie arcade game for 360 and found the ice key and eggs u would use them to unlock items in banjo kazooie nuts and bolts it was revealed from rare itself

I don't think Rare knew what they were doing when they implemented this. They implemented them and said "Let's use this for later". The technology didn't work so they scrapped it. I don't think they had anything special in mind. Just saved it for the future and didn't know what to do with it when that time came. Too much fuzz about all this, it's just a game! :P

do you even research? earlier 64's had a lag when you removed the cartidrage so you had time to put it in once again that means that you could remove BK BT and get the stop 'n swop as rare originally palnned int he end nintendo sligthly modified the 64's so after a sec you 64 would freeze the game, rare could have opted to use the memcard of the 64 to actually use stop 'n swop.

Do you think it's a good idea to build a feature of a game around a console glitch? They could have used the memory card but they chose not to. These eggs and the ice key are just objects within a game without a purpose. Meant to be used for something that Rare didn't know what it was at the time and later chose to scrap. A good way to keep things a mystery and get some free PR.

when u find these eggs and key and save it on the n64, then play banjo tooie aswell. but on same n64. couse i remember the dragon and smacking that bird about. either that or we used a cheat device, it was so long ago i dont remember.

Stop 'N' Swop is totally overrated IMHO. I mean aside from it's development-and how it could have had something to do with Donkey Kong 64-all it was, was a somewhat cool feature (mostly because it was legendary even in the game) with a one-way swap that would activate in-game prizes in Banjo-Tooie (which were most likely put in, in some form in one way or another) the beta levels are what interest me, or any beta Banjo-Kazooie thing for that matter.
Anyways nice video, I liked the remix 5/5 :)

you can get the ice key again in Banjo Tooie, and the rumor behind "stop n swap" was that Rare designed the game so that when you had your stop and swap inventory up, (like at the beggining of this vid) you had to pull out the game (with the console still on) and quickly replace it with Tooie, and your supposed to be able to hatch the eggs at heggys, but, its all fake, all it does is mess up your console. They eggs and key in this game don't do anythign, there just really kool.

This is real! how do I know? I copied the codes your supposed to enter to gain access to the eggs and the key. it worked! I got the ice key and eggs. no hacks! and when I went to the game totals there was a menu that said Stop 'n' Swop! ^^

i dont really remember which colors are where but i can tell you the locations of the greatest power ever released in the universe, obviously the ice key is in wozzas cave, and then theres the egg in sharkfood island, 2 in mad monster mansion, one in the window of the house on the toilet, one in the celler, then theres the one behind the door in muhammed gobis valley, theres one in nabnuts house, i think in winter time, and the last one is on the captains bed in rusty bucket bay, EHH STOP N SWOP

I got all the Stop and Swoop and ice key for Banjo Kazooie on the 360 XBLA version and now going to see what it does in BK:Nuts and Bolts since Banjo and Kazooie mentioned it might unlock something there, hmm maybe i will make a vid to see what happens

That's ok, I did it today! The ice key opened up a big door which revealed a mega globo. I gave it to humba wumba who turned kazooie into a dragon! It's awesome.

for ice key in banjo tooie you go to glitter gulch mine, and i believe in a certain cave in the water theres a kazooie face rock where u can use the kazooie torpedo on, then u go in and ur in hailfire peaks area with a giant safe, u go near it and ice key opens it and mega glowbo is inside
