What are the dimensions of this tank? I have a 20 gallon long and it is not as big as the one in this video. You have all those rocks plus that many fish, which are probably an inch long at least, so it's obvious that tank is larger.

I have the exact same tank. As many have said.. its a 20 gallon LONG tank. Meaning it is shorter, but LONGER.

8 in a 20 gallon is fine, as long as you take them out when they start to outgrow it. Overcrowding a Cichlid tank can actually help your fish. It reduces aggression by keeping them from developing territories. Just make sure you are cycling your water frequently (I recommend 100% a week, 5 gallons 4 times) & make sure the water you put in the tank has been conditioned. I recommend 4 drops of Prime give or take depending on your cities tap water, and 1/2 teaspoon of Kent if you cities PH is low

8 is alright as lon gas you do water changes and keep the tank clean. Which your tank looks perfectly fine.

pretty cheap most expensive 15 dollars but at walmart its five dollars hehehe people hate walmart fish but fish are fish no matter where i go and outtof my one year experience ive had no deaths and owned seven fish all cichlids
