  • I'm sure Gershwin will be jalous of your super interpretation.

I put you on my favorite, never heard about you before. :)

  • I swear you really are ambidextrous. Unreal.

  • is this your own arrangement? I would love to see a transcription of this if you have... otherwise I'll be sitting and transcribing it for the next few weeks

  • @benpesenti

I hate to tie you up for the next few weeks, but I don't have any note for note arrangements. In this piece, like others I have played for many years, I am likely to do variations on phrases or choruses from past performances, but never in the same order, form, or even in the same key. Basically what you see in this video is an improvisation, holding true to the form of Gershwin's original composition.

    Thanks for listening!

  • fantastic!

  • Man you are SO GREAT Bravo :o)

  • Absolutely first rate. Gershwin would have loved this.

  • Nice timing variations!

  • Thank you for posting this lovely classic. You can hear it live in the Royal Albert Hall 13-22 June 2008. The show is called Strictly Gershwin. Appearantly the English National Ballet is performing a dance show as well. Can't wait.
