  • buen video cabros me gusto bkn

  • Those roads are sick, I think I only saw one patched pothole in the whole vid. Not even a pothole, a patched pothole. So jealous, with winter in Chicago.......our roads look like somebody dropped bombs on them.

Then again, isn't like infrastructure and building like an insane amount of the Japanese GDP? It's like their version of the military-industrial complex. But at least you can ride your bike in peace.

  • those red grip strips in the street are the bane of my existence. i cant stand them.

  • I haven't seen a Contax in a long time...

  • japanese know how to have fun

  • What are those sheets of paper or stickers that guy has on his spokes in the beginning?

  • those are cards so his bike makes a sound when he rides

  • dont you remember when you were a kid, and you put playing cards on your spokes and pretended your bike was a motorcycle! Or am I the only one who did that?

  • lol Yeah but how did he put them there

  • there spoke cards.... they dont make noise ,,,,they are just cool or team or club affiliated

  • or from a race.. they usually get a price for nicest fixie, everyone that competes usually gets a card..

  • @Meneks spoke cards noob...

  • @SteVeYG215 LOL I asked that question last year faggot..

    I ride brakeless now kid

  • ok cool thanks

  • does any one know what size his chain ring is?

  • Thanks man.

  • anyone know what frame the purple one is?

  • Kalavinka

  • yore fukn pedils ar scrapin lol

  • @johngorgis Damn you need to start going to your english classes.

  • Awesome video...

  • yea about the not leaning balls on the stem and just skidding sitting i tried that and cant do it and ive been riding fixies four 5 or 6 years and i still dont get it

  • You dont literally sit down and skid. and its not hard at all. im 14 and ive been riding for a year and can do it easy. just go try it

  • @Talesfore22 What does age have to do with ANYTHING?

  • 3:08 was dope

  • De PutA maDre ¡¡¡

    Coolstylebike

  • does anyone have any tips on how to skid without having to lean so god danm far forward? cause thats the only way i can skid. :D

  • walrusflareblaze, for a diff kinda skid, instead of leaning ur nuts over the stem, lay ur nuts on the top tube. I find this kinda position better for when i'm just doing a short skid in mid sprint. Or learn one leg skid, that'll help u fig out diff positions.

  • okay. thanks for the tips. i kinda got ahold of it now.

  • use toe clips, push down hard on your dominant foot and up on the other. you will be able to do sit down skid's. asd you first learn them slightly stand up as you push down and up, with time you'll get them up.

  • i find it easier to pull up with your dominant foot because pulling up is the harder job and if the stronger leg does it then the easier the skidding will be. but that's just me

  • Have very strong legs and go fast.

  • Fixie FOR life.

  • or at least until our knees ware out

  • how the fuck do these people not sweat!?

  • Love the Songs! What are they?

  • how in the fuck do they slide so fucking easy... please someone let me know

  • cause its really fucking easy to skid.

  • @Abstracthoughts experience...

  • Great video and a really good soundtrack. I'm surprised people are getting a little touchy about things like the handlebars, functionality isn't always everything! The guys who ride with them don't seem to take themselves to seriously so why are people on here?

  • Hey anybody have a comment on the "Windsor The Hour" fixed bikes?

  • that guy with the green bag should get a backpack - his bag does not seem to stay on, no matter how hard he tries.

  • yea dont make riding a bike more than it is

    bullhorns drops OR short bars

    it doesnt matter

as long as you can ride

  • where is this?

  • Tokyo, mostly around Nakameguro,Ebisu, Komazawa and a few other areas I don't quite recognise.

  • I am impressed by your handlebars. Why have track drops on a bike if you are never going to use them? Why only wrap the drops if you only use the flats? Why flip bullhorns upside down and lose the additional hand position? If you want to use the flats, just buy risers. Or you could take advantage of the additional hand positions drops and bullhorns provide.

  • I would use lowered bullhorns, since it's the best sprinting position IMO.

  • really? I will let the pros know

  • Why? Why do you care? they aren't pros, tourers, racers, etc. they are just having fun, god forbid, and aren't under any pretenses that everything they do is only for function and not aesthetics.

  • AMEN !!! .... sounds like a 50 year old spandex wearing fag

  • I am a 22 year old spandex wearing homosexual ok

  • Thanks, we like this style in Tokyo.

    Glad you like it too.

  • Here is a crazy idea... perhaps it's that persons personal preference. Like Bobby Brown once said "It's my prerogative". Track bars are good for aerodynamics, flat bars are good all around average, and bullhorns are great for climbing/pursuit.

  • damn i cant stop wathcing this video. so fucking sick... fuck tricks. bombing hills!

  • hah. you call these hills?

  • What's the smell? Oh, just rutting corpse of hipsterdom!

  • nice bikes, nice riding, great video

  • awesome video. good music. nice effects, camera angles, etc..!

  • i love the ending!

  • I would like the names of the tracks of this video! anyone know? onegaishimasu!

  • what kind of bikes/ wheels were those?

  • deep V's and aerospokes hurt my eyes!

  • arrospok

  • I stand corrected.

  • you kids are having too much fun

  • great movie. ...i can't stand people who chop track bars though...

  • that was pretty cool. nice bikes nice tricks. i jst dont get why they would cut the drop of the bars and leave them like that if not merely for fashion. ah those japanese, always fashionable...

  • wow.

  • Fucking awesome dude. It's gonna be a dope video. Props. Fixed gear to the fullest.

  • The lower gear(higher cadence) is easier to resist the pedals and easier to get going. That makes it better for skidding, riding backards, wheelies, all manner of tricks.

  • So Awesome! What is the song during the first 5 minutes?

  • SWEET!

  • PLEASE finish this video, so that i can buy a copy! great stuff.

  • all the guys in japan run super high cadences, i dont get why

  • Man whoever the guy on this purple/white kalavinka bike is, I really adore your bike....the nicest bike I've seen in and around tokyo...and bv the way one of the top fixed gear videos around besides the Mash and Carnival one...Looking forward to see the whole movie (hope there will be one).....

  • yeah, that shit is awesome.

  • えらいよ!Great music choice, what are the songs? Is the fourth one by Hope Sandoval (reminded me of her)? どうもね。

  • スゲーなこれ!それは富山ですか?

  • Quite good not really my cup of tea but typical Jap cool respect for riding through Tokyo (if it was) at night with no lights

  • ...sure, no lights is the impressive part? how about with no brakes and no coasting?

  • Sugoi. Nice video.

  • great video! keep riding...

  • Sugoi dayo! Man I miss Japan.

  • awesome video!

  • very good video!

  • Love it. One of the best fixie movie clips I've seen so far. Keep that shit up.
