  • @MRBUBBLEUPS yup just on a flat surface... wel you obviously always need a bit of slope ;-) once you you are used to it you caan start going backwards slowly tthen try lokking over your shoulder as far as possible so your body follows your hhead then you will automatically start 'scissoring' your ski's ...

  • Okay so I got some twin tips how do I go about learning how to do this. I tried yesterday and I was spotting over my shoulder but I couldn't keep my skis straight. The only thing I could do Is make a backward wedge and do backward wedge turns if that makes sense haha. Should I just keep practicing the backward wedge turns or is there a different way of learning. good vid by the way smooth

  • @MRBUBBLEUPS Scissor your skis so the Right one is infront and your head is looking over left shoulder when carving to the Skiers(front) left vice versa for right

  • @Frequentflyyers k i will try it this winter ha

Pretty late i guess but you should first try and make pirouette's to both directions.

When you mastered that you should try and go switch on a gentle slope. This guy is able to ride witch just looking over one shoulder. But you'll find it gets easier when you look over both.

  • @scuutbuut k i will try pirouettes. thats just a 360 flat land right?
