  • JOHNNY SAID IN AN INTERVIEW, HE WAS SINGING IN A HIGHER PITCH THAN NORMAL BECAUSE ELVIS WAS SINGING IN THE KEY HE WANTED TO SING AND THE OTHERS FELL IN.

  • the million dollar quartet - the most amazing thing that ever did happen to this earth, after jesus of course :)

  • @jayp742 And u should do ur research, bubby. Why don't you go on down to Mississippi and ask "The Killer" about it. He'll talk to you. He was one of those who was not "too far from the mic" to be heard. Just typing that phrase felt ridiculous and there are some who use it and actually believe it. Pitiful. Strange how the ladies with them were on the other side of the studio and they could still be heard perfectly when they spoke. Cash said he was too far from the mic...he was, many miles.

  • @jayp742 Yeah, Cash was miles from the mic.

  • Elvis and Johnny Cash were their, at sun record company were they met that day and they jammed.

  • elvis the king of music!!!

  • Johnny is the best!!!

  • @DadoR82 Johnny was not even there. And he was not the best. That would be Big E's role.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE

uh...wrong honey...that is Johnny Cash on the far right...so he WAS there! jussayin'

  • @fairefacesbyRosemary Uh.....wrong honey....it may be Johnny Cash in the pic but that pic was taked long before the recorders were turned on. There is no Johnny Cash in the session. So he was not there! jussayin'

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE taked should read taken

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE At about 46s you hear a voice in the background mumble-It's not

Carl,it's not the killer or Elvis...so who do you say it was it sounds a pretty deep voice a long way from the mic{a johnny stated he was} so out of the 4 who would you say it was?

  • @195477 Charlie Rich??

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Who is Elvis refering to when he leaves and says "Goodbye Johnny?" and Joe Baugh says " You out to get up a quartet" after I shall not be moved? I know he sang as well but he says "You" not " We should or we should get up a quintet"

  • @195477 Maybe it was the one who recorded the session and provided the studio material they were singing. You do know who that was, don't you?

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Sam Phillips. If it was him he does an great Cash impersonation.

  • It's amazing .. They're here just singing alltogether ... I wish i could be there .... They're all wonderful artists.

  • that was amazing. (:

  • they all were so young w/their lives in front of them. How I wished to be there at this time! Such an historical event. All 1st sang in their churches and never forgot where they came from!

  • @estelle715

Elvis never forgot where he came from? If he didn't, name one who did.
