He was one of those who was not "too far from the mic" to be heard. Just typing that phrase felt ridiculous and there are some who use it and actually believe it. Pitiful. Strange how the ladies with them were on the other side of the studio and they could still be heard perfectly when they spoke. Cash said he was too far from the mic...he was, many miles.

they all were so young w/their lives in front of them. How I wished to be there at this time! Such an historical event. All 1st sang in their churches and never forgot where they came from!
