@heyitshorse you shouldn't beleave in these fake videos... there are hundreds of these fake ones and i havn't found any videos that would really overclock your iphone. For exam. @0:30 the 3gs was like 3 times faster loading already the settings app.
@V33SB1 your right these videos dont help what i wana see is him starting up plants vs zombies game on his iphone 2g like what i have becosue everyone knows that game takes long to load on older devices so if he shows this running on his iphone loading speed faster then al belive this but if he over clock just to open and close apps faster then this is dumb and speed intensifier does the same thing and only affect animations what I want is to play games faster
the device still runs at stock speed 800mhz for iphone 4 and ipod 4g. what this does is it disables scaling for those set speeds in the powermanagement.plist
@xilix @ VicVance9 It work's but it doesn't show you the real speed even if you change cpu speed over the Plist! For a real animation speed difference try Speedintensefier or Fakeclockup source: modmy (and other sources) in cydia!
This speed up your device and doesn't drain your battery(alone) at all! And the best; even ioverclock work's better with Speedintensifier or fakeclockup! Try it, you'll like it! Tell me if you do! ;)
@74pbg the animation speed isnt the loading speed even if you clock up the animation speed to max its gonna load exactly the same speed if not slower !
@spykeize He didn't even compare the two in that way. Both of them have iOverclock, one's an iPhone 2G and the other is a 3GS. He's just showing that it works on both generations. Fucking pay attention before you open your mouth.
this works great .. apples system always post the set processor specs it will not tell you the new MHz apple keeps that hidden but this app does let the chip run at full tilt the whole time..
On my iPhone 3G, I installed iOverclock and with the Winterboard theme set to iOverclock. I benchmarked opening a game called "physics". I ran the test 4 times, with and without iOverclock turned on. The results, it takes LONGER to load the game with iOverclock. With iOverclock it averages 25 seconds. Without iOverclock it takes 23 seconds. Do you have an explanation? I ran the tests before and after resetting the device and the results were the same. Recommend any other benchmarks?
@evgtun the iOS has limits on it, to save battery life.. These limits are removed with iOverclock.. This allows your device to run at its full speed all the time. It doesn't actually overclock.. It just runs at it's regular clock with no limits.. That's why it's "faster" but that's why youre still running at that speed, but you should still notice an increase in speed.
Uhhhh.... you like your iPod 2g better?

@V33SB1 well because he also overclocked his 3gs. he would really be faster. iphone 2g overclocked to 600 while 3gs 800

@roxas5634 1. You can't overclock any iOs device (yet)
2. "iphone 2g overclocked to 600 while 3gs 800", those are their stock speeds duchbag...

lol, this isn't even faster. Yyou just hit stuff on the phone with ioverclock before the one without it, but besides that they run at the same speed.
