I'm too hard on myself when I lose at chess. I was hovering around 1200-1400 after playing tons of games. I like to play 10 minute games, and sometimes I play it like it's a one minute blitz game..lol. I signed up on chesscube about a week ago.
M - I know how you feel about going on a losing streak. I was rated about almost 1600 on FICS about 2 months ago. Now I'm rated in the 1300 and I cant seem to get out of it. I figure you just have to keep playing and ride out the losing streak. It happens sometimes.

i think you need to work on your thought process. when you have the lead try to think how your oppent might try to win the game from you. you should focus more on your king safety knowing that the only way for your opponent to win is attack or to make you make a misstake.
It seems you were too worried about your opponents ideas and couldn't play a plan of your own. After winning the bishop, you seemed to switch into defence-mode and just reacting to your opponent making threats and ideas. Maybe you should start attacking again, where your strength lies. It should also help to prevent a loss on time.This game didn't look like your style of play.
sometimes me too i make very bad losing streaks... sometimes against players that have much less rating then me. I think that's just normal that this happen, usually i stop playing for like 2 or 3 days then everything returns normal :D
yeah i think so too, after i play many games i get like dizzy and play automactically but senseless, it's better to stop for a while and then return to the game!!!

around move 18, you have bishop takes knight, and then your knight can take the E4 pawn with a rook and queen fork threat afterwards.

1) Bishop takes knight leaves the dark squares around the king weak
