the 'breathing' light just shows that the phone is on :) when it receives a message, email, or call, the light flashes in 2 second pulses.

I was thinking of the iphone aswell, but no way man, i still Think Nokia is the best brand for phones.

Saying that, Blackberry is very tempting to get.

The E72 is just such a sexy phone, its so much more than a phone though.

iv had my nokia e71 almost 17months now on an 18month contract and its only just had to be sent off to be repaired because charger wouldnt connect but only took couple days. very reliable and good phone im glad they upgraded cam 5mp is fine just wish it was 8 or 10 . im probably gettin the e72 as my upgrade.

The E71x is a reliable device. It is black and looks better. It needs better voice and has the best speakerphone. It is just as sturdy as the E72 and the battery will last a good week before it needs to be charged.

It'll probably load the real or mobile version of a website based on that website's CSS guide. If it has a mobile version then the phone will use it, but most non-professional websites won't have that and will load it in full.

One thing you might want to try is getting Opera Mini on the phone as I've found in the past it works much better than the built in browser (coming from a N95 and N82).

All in all thanks for the review, it was handy.

sold my iphone to get the e72;had the iphone for a year and just wasn't cutting as a business phone. e72 is faster then expected; email, sms, ovi maps etc a big plus; down side: poor for free apps and games a minus and I would expect better quality pictures from a 5mxp camera too! Also worth noting that gmail, yahoo and the like support not great either, issues with the auto sync, auto free wifi over gprs/3G etc. So overall a much better business phone then an iphone but it could be better!

already have the E72 & I am delighted w/ its features but I'm very upset with its quality. just bought the phone 3 days ago & I noticed some defects already (sometimes the indicator light indicates that you have a new message even if there's none, sometimes some keys are not functioning correctly, it hangs/lag seldomly and you must press the power botton too long just to turn on the phone). It SUCKS because it is a brandnew 3 day old phone and that flaws are happening alredy. anybody frm NOKIA?

llcooljed - I've had the E72 for several weeks. It has none of the problems you describe. Actually I've dropped it more than once and it's still working perfectly.
