Palm Pre: First Impressions

you really have to use it. its faster and smarter than the i phone. when on speaker mode i always keep the phone upside down it helps the volume. its much louder than the i phone

It wasn't a bad video, I just thought it lacked a lot. Get to the point of it and it's features faster. But nice looking device.

One note about the touchstone accessory; it's primary purpose is to charge the phone, wirelessly. The touchstone plugs into the wall, and if the Palm Pre is placed on it, it charges via magnetic induction. Definitely not a "must have" but, nice (and neat) to have for your desk.

Good solid attempt on this review considering you don't have one in person. Hard to make a truly stellar review without one in hand, but good effort none the less.

You said the launcher looks like an iphone but if you look at the launcher on classic palm OS is basically the same thing, just the pre has been redesigned to look prettier. A lot of the things on the phone are modernized and rethought versions of the old palm stuff.

yes thats true, but they went ahead and got it anyways, just like palm has the vibrate ringer switch patented apple used it... if you dont think it has multitouch google it......ul b surprised
