  • stop twisting scriptures, premartial sex is wrong

  • Thanks, but there are MUCH WORSE problems than bad statistics. Christianity Today magazine published an article claiming that it is now unreasonable to expect people to actually remain virgins until marriage. Further, Southern Baptist theologian Dr. Albert Mohler actual said he AGREES with that opinion!

Not only that, for a very long time the Protestant Strong's Concordance has endorsed pre-marital cohabitation as part of the "marriage bed" in Heb 13:4.

  • Its easy to live this way which will lead to sin and will ultimately destroy the individuals spiritually.

  • the short term gain vs the long term relationship... this has to be carefully thought about

  • Religion is for IDIOTS!!!

  • All of this could be said for marriage as well. She acts as if cohabiting couples are only in it for the sex. Some people cohabit instead of marriage.

The real issue is the type of person, whether they are married or cohabiting. Relationships in general are hard to make, and I don't see any difference between what she's saying and two people who rushed into a marriage without considering what they were doing.

  • If cohabiting is a commitment then why don't they make it final a marry?

  • Well, there's a pretty obvious bias when pictures of Jesus start flashing before the video starts. Tell you what people, my fiance is Catholic and I'm an atheist. We compromised and have lived together as an engaged couple for over a year and we are wonderful together. I'm glad there won't be any suprises for either of us when we get married. Cohabitation is a rational precaution to take before you say you will live with someone the rest of your life. I would strongly advise it.

  • Life is not static; things can and do change after you move in together....

  • *sigh* discuss the difficult things before you move in together.

  • Wise words. I found cohabitation to be disastrous.
