I'm just curious to know what your bankroll is when you're at the casino and the different types with the values of each bet when you're at the tables.
@SINceREous I don't talk about my lifetime bankroll and that is what your should have, a life time bankroll, not a session BR. You are trying to beat the casino over the long haul. this is a journey, not a destination.
I know practice makes perfect ... but it is almost impossible to have such consistency that your throw is always 45 degree. When you throw flat, the dice bounces further away from the wall. Is it safe to say that, to make sure that the dice die, it is always better to throw (if not 45 degree) a little higher than 45 degree? It seems to me that a small margin of error is more acceptable when the dice is higher than when it is flatter. Pls Enlighten me Dom...
@andli2411 Sorry for the delay in responding...somehow I didn't receive a notification from You tube ... I always say that "height will set you free!" ... yes you are correct, better to be off with a high shot than a low shot.
I cannot make the dice spin gently end over end. They stay in the air and land together. The left dice is the one that normally gives me problems.Sometimes they'll fly together, but they're turned counter-clockwise slightly. Any advice will be greatly appreciated
@SINceREous Sorry for the delay in responding...somehow I didn't receive a notification from You tube ... it is all inthe grip, make sure your fingers are straight across the front of the dice. Put the straight 6's sett and use that as a guide to to see if your fingers are straight.
@goldentouchadvantage I recently bought The Golden Touch "Gripper" to make sure my grip is spot on. I practice 30mins before I goto work and at least an hour when I get home. I'm still having the same problem even when I grip the dice with the "Gripper". Any suggestions?
@SINceREous I am not sure what your problem is. When you use the gripper you need to go back and forth with it...grip the dice while they dice are in the gripper and take them out, then grip the dice out of the gripper and while holding them put them back in the gripper to see if your fingers are straight across. Maybe you are just gripping the dice too tight. It is so difficult to know without seeing you
@goldentouchadvantage I've been analyzing my grip and I think I figured out what was wrong with my toss. My grip was misaligned. I was favoring the right die instead of being centered. My toss improved significantly and now I have the dice flying more end over end. Now my problem is with the amount of spin I hve with my toss. Normally, it's too much instead of not enough. I appreciate all the help. Thank you very much
@SINceREous The analyzing that you did with your grip is something that you will have to do over and over again. We all get little changes over time that need correcting. Good luck!
I had trouble getting my dice to be consistent even though I would make the greatest effort in throwing them the exact same way every time. I then discovered a key factor that was interfering with my throws - moisture on my fingertips. This causes the dice to stick to your fingers, causing varied outcomes. Dry your fingertips with a chalk bag, or even a thin coating of glue (dried) to block the moisture, eliminating this variable from the equation.
@PwnagePC Sorry for the delay in responding...somehow I didn't receive a notification from You tube ... good thoughts! I use Arid XTra dry on my finger tips to keep the dry
Honestly the five count is such a simple but effective technique, it broke my heart to think back on how much money I wasted before I read golden touch books.
Problem though Dom. Last time I was in Vegas a lot of the casinos had installed new tables with this strange spongy material instead of a hard flat surface. The bounces were awkward and I'm not sure I ever really got as good a groove as I needed. Any advice?
Thanks Paul! The 5-count is really a money saver and everyone should use it! For those bouncy tables you need to throw your dice a little bit lower and about 12 inches from the backwall
I find it very hard to generate backspin with three finger grip. However, ?I tried throwing only one dice with backspin and I was able to get the desired number along x-axis(4 numbers in the axis of rotation). Then I tried throwing two dices with gripping them as between thumb, first finger and middle finger(making a cylinder out of thumb, first finger and middle finger) . I am getting desired result but it looks difficult again. Is this fine?
Remember that you are only holding the dice with your thumb and middle finger. The index and ring finger are just laid across the front. You shouldn't have to TRY to get back spin. If you have a follow through then your thumb will release first without any thought on your part and the forward energy of your swing will ket the dice roll off your finger tips and cause rotation
Your middle finger and thumb need to be PERFECTLY centered between both dice and your three fingers need to be perfectly straight across the front. You should only be griping or holding the dice with your middle finger and thumb. Your index and ring finger are just gently put across the front without any pressure. WE have a practice tool called "The Gripper" that we sell on our website goldentouchcraps . com. It helps with making your grip perfect!
Hi Dom, are you planning on having crap seminars in the south? Like Louisiana? If not, would you consider watching my youtube video and critique my arm, stance, how i hold the dice, etc??? I'd love to attend your crap seminars, but I am tight on funds. I am willing to pay a fee for your advice based on my video. I just can't fly to your listed cities for the seminars at the moment. Please let me know if that is possible. Thanks!

@187dAFeD I have never heard of any of anyone else to be banned except my partner Frank. But you shouldn't worry about being banned. Would you rather lose and never have the chance of being banned, or WIN with the chance
This is the position as it relates to the stick person. If you stand on the left handed side of the stick man and you are in the first position, (right next to him) you are standing SL1
Well, I've done my research on this topic of dice control and reached no conclusion. Both sides of the debate over good arguments, so I've just decided to try it for myself and see if it works at home. I'm getting Wong on Dice (maybe one of your books if I find it lacking) and will be making a home craps table setup to test a statistically significant number of controlled rolls on to see if their is an effect, and if so how great is it.
Thanks for providing the info that is getting me started.
Actually we were the ones that started Wong on this as well. After he took our class he wrote his book! I am kind of a little surprised that you would buy his book instead of ours, but good luck to you
Thank you for posting the videos. My mom bought the DVDs and am grateful for that new info was added. Although I see conflicting information regarding the non-shooting arm grip. I noticed in Video 1/Part 1 (2:49) that Dom grips only the black area (excludes the chip holder/ wooden area). In this video Part 3, Dom grips the entire rail with his non-shooting hand ( Part 3-3:01). Which grip is best for the non-shooting arm when positioned on Stick Left 1?
mmmm....When I am shooting from SL I always grab the front of the rail so I can get up on my toes to reach over the table. That is the best position for the none shooting arm
yes very true sr. DOMINATOR I recommend to people who watch these videos to buy his books and DVDs are an excellent source of learning styles helped me in my beginning. something that is basic is the way when it is released and make a shot as the clock hands it's like from 3 to 9 and let the soft arm front to accurately soft but as seen in this video and your thumb is key to throw and mind in the release. thanks greetings from PUERTO RICO.
hello is excellent his techniques ever since I saw the documentary on history channel also caught my attention the dice game, I'm 1 years practicing and improving all this in as the launching stage of the dice and some mental control. gracias!!
Thank you for your kind words! The things I teach do work. Remember it is also in the betting...you can control the dice, but if you make bad bets at the table you will still lose. Make smart low house edge bets like placing the 6 and 8 or use comebets. DON"T be the bets in the middle of the table like hardways and yo's amd such. These bets carry a high house edge
it is very hard with out seeing you, but here goes. The dice should bounce back about 6 to 8 inches off the back wall. Trying throwing them a little higher. Also check your grip. Also, the amount of bounce will depend on the table surface. if you are playing on a bouncy table they will bounce back more
This is a great video, I'm A reader;Beat the craps out of the casino,Forever Craps,Dice control Revolution and get the edge at craps .And now we can lay to rest that the recieving end of the table can't be seen as Dom tosses the dice, i improve with practice, practice, practiceand re reading the books As Frank said from Billy Crystal Throw mama from the train,A writer writes;and i A reader reads.i keep practicing and using the five count no doubt i last longer with your instructions "Thanks".
:))) Thanks for the kind words! Excuse this plug but since you are a reader you might want to get our two new books...Casino Craps Shoot to Win...and our ADVANCED book...Cutting Edge Craps.
Practice is the key and using the 5-count will save you money on the Random rollers that you will encounter at the tables
im just getting in to trying to dice control i got a set of casnio dice what is the best way to practice at home to set up a rig i dont have much money to blow is there any house hold items i can use to semilate the table to set up a little rig thank you for your time
You do need to practice this dice control. The most expensive part is going to be the rubber pyramids. You can do a internet search to try to find a good price but they will be about $65.00. Then go to a Home Depot or such and get a 3/4 inch board about 3 foot square and three pre-made 8 inch high shelving for the sides. Go to a billiard store and get good felt. Glue the felt and nail the three side and put the pyramid on the back. Put this on a table and practice
I have a tip, I keep a blue rosin cube in my pocked, used for the end a pool sticks, then I use it on my fingers to keep the dice from sticking, It works for me, in fact often i been toll I am good shooter by the table crews, I got another tip thats better, want to know, send me your book and CD for free !
