  • Keep us posted on it. I've been staying out of my pool lately since we're right on the coast of NW Florida. Hope your problem turns out to be something simple and unrelated to the oil spill.

  • Well there's your problem. Your using poo chemicals instead of pool chemicals.

  • could it be oil? where do you live?

  • I SAY IT IS SLILLY SPRAY

  • @Tater78HD i was thinking silly string spray also

  • When you say fiber, do you mean hair, or thread?

  • Are you getting any more of it now that its mostly out of the pool?

  • @romorris i got it all out and it hasnt rained since.......and im getting none.....

  • Looks like the same stuff that floats in the tank that I use to start outboard motors in....Emulsified oil !

  • I'd tale some to a psycic and see if they can read the minds of that alien baby larvae.

  • My son is a pool tech and a chemist. He says it is mold and he sees it all of the time.

He says to try an rx super cartrige. He said he would drain the pool and clean it and refill it. Hard to get rid of.

  • @moonshadow93924 i netted this stuff out and got rid of it.......pool looks great......

  • @moonshadow93924 Yeah, I found it on the web, pictures and all that, gave web sites with pictures of it ... but ironhead wont look at that ... nooo, lol

  • Hey Bro - I have a "CPO" and never seen b4. Newspaper is wood fiber, and chlorine, should break it down. Anything organic based should be toast in that high of a concentration of bleach. Has to be non organic. You should call the pool keeper of the city pool. See if he/she, had any of the goo. They would have had it tested chemically by now.

  • Sam...I think some Pink Aliens had sex in your pool! Take the samples to a Gyno and see what he comes up with.

  • @BTSchnauzers its gonna be a girl........

  • sounds like a kid tp'ed your pool w/ Pink toliet paper

  • Dude! That's sum sickshit! What is it? Why all the filters! Up ere our waters great. Peace n' Tanks for making me aware . I wish everyone would be more careful with there bagage! (>..<)

  • If it's bacterial sun might kill it. I wonder what it would do in an acidic solution? Vinegar? Citrus? Or alkaline like concentrated mineral lime water? Heavy Soap? Wonder if the oil stuff would burn? I think it's probably that pink stuff I found info on, but it would be cool to see what affects chlorine resistant bacterial growths like that.

I'm betting the stuff in the bleach is pretty dead, even though it's chlorine resistant, that's gotta be to much.

  • There is a pink chlorine resistant bacterial algae type stuff, maybe it's that

    askalanaquestionDOTcom/pink_pool_algaeDOThtm

Another page talking about it, according to them it's nasty & hard to deal with

    parpool-spaDOTcom/Page/Help/Pool/Pink_SlimeDOThtml

  • try some carb cleaner on some.

  • Totally off the train of thought. Could it be nothing more than sealant from one of the many water joints? Such as a sealant ring or an o-ring broke down and dissolved into the pool? Pink, fibers, if I wasn't thinking NWO, Chemtrails, etc. My mind would lean to gasket, sealant, 0-ring.

  • @QuietBuck i have 3 black rubber o-rings in my filter system.....no sealents.....all pvc and clear glue piping...pool is all concrete.....no seals.....nothing pinkish anywhere....

  • Well, I guess we know why your called Ironhead. Have you really not googled Morgellons????? Fibers. Pink. Nanotech. Incurable. HORRIBLE SUFFERING.

And you're still fooling around with this stuff?

  • @horseman4now i have not googled any of those things......and yes im called ironhead for a particular reason......you nailed that......

  • You didn't hit a chicken with your lawnmower?

  • @romorris i dont have pink chickens....

  • Gotta watch for those jets dumping their holding tanks ...:)

  • Did someone throw some insulation in the pool?

  • @MSGDREWRY no insulation

  • Excellent video!

    -TEW

  • Good video. Glad you are trying to find an answer for us all.

    Old Man

  • Its nice to see someone doing this much investigatin'. But I'm pretty sure if it was some of that fly'n newspaper, it woulda turnt white in the that much bleach.

I've done alot of fish aquarium stuff. And it doesn't take much bleach to kill of anything bio-what-evered.

I don't see any problems with my garden from this last rain. But I had something detroy leaves after that big rain we had come from the gulf a few weeks ago.

I did have my very first incounter with one of them big mater worms.

  • Take some to the local university and have it analyzed.

  • you have some weird stuff going on..

  • is this methane gas and oil mixed..because methane gas turns pink in the air but your stuff looks rubbery too

  • Try some other solvents with the pink goo, like ammonia, and various oils that you have available from cooking oils to car lubricants. Whatever dissolves the goo will give you an idea of what it's made of.

  • @ironhead I'm weirded out by that Pink Goo lol !!!!! Never seen nothing like it and I have had pools forever !!!!!!!

  • i dunno. i think a bird puked while flying over your pool.
