no, no, no. "stylisticly"? yea his stuff is melodic, and i like that, but his guitar skills completely pale in comparison 2 jay. u listen to the solo in "pick me up" and then tell me who's better @ playing guitar. you can argue who makes the better music, but skill wise, you're an idiot if you think robert's more skillful. you name one cure solo in wich robert shreds, and i'll lay down my argument.

Yeah I have Beyond and it's great. No doubt. But you know Dinosaur Jr. was definitely inspired by The Cure. It's a matter of opinion who's stylistically better (which is all I said besides the fact Robert sings much better). Technically, Jay is better at playing guitar. BUT. Yngwie Malmsteen is waaaaay better than either of them. Doesn't mean I prefer his music. Do you get me? Robert Smith's music just is my preference here. I'm not an idiot either, by the way. Robert doesn't need to shred.

I can't believe I didn't know this guys when they came to portugal... well I was young and foolish, hope they come again and asap.

Great cover from my favourite song from the cure, still I think dinosaur jr. made it so much better with their music "distortion coloring".
