There were other parts of the anti-terror clause which could not be supported. Voting against the clause is not voting for terrorist - it's voting against a flawed Bill.

The two clauses were 'investigative hearings' and 'preventative arrest'. Which of these could not be supported? Why did the Liberal Party endorse them both last fall, but upon election of a Marxist as leader, flip-flop and then oppose their own legislation?

The answer should be clear: The Liberals are playing politics with Canadian lives and national security.

Preventative arrest allows for the imprisonment of individuals without an issued warrant. Your video tries to assert that Ignatieff is for terror and Harper is against it. If that is cut-and-dry how it works then by the same token Ignatieff is pro civil liberties and Harper is against them. That's a very juvenile assessment of the video. Never once did I saw that Iggy is "for terror" (your words). I said Michael Ignatieff needs to apologize for his comments, and I demonstrated the lack of judgment of the second in command of the Liberal Party. These families came to speak to MPs about the ATA measures and the Liberal party insulted their very wish to discuss their concerns with the members. Shameful Liberal arrogance, yet again.
