Ignatieff is a "Dead Beat Dad"! Just check out our video for the proof. Canadian media are just ignoring it; have you ever heard 1 word about his kids or what kind of a parent he has been? Nope, that's not for the voters to know about. But we have it here on youtube, whether the media likes it or not.
PATHOLOGICAL "WE AMERICANS" LIEING IS THE ISSUE, more than his 34 years away. That kind of repititious publicly stated lies (hundreds of times) is a classic symptom of psychopathy. Either he is 100% delusional or he thinks the public are complete idiots, take your pick. WATCH OUR VIDEO!
See and hear Ignatieff say: "We wouldn't have international human rights without the leadership of George W. Bush and the United States!" during his 2005 lecture at Trinity College.Go to my videos and watch "The Real Michael Ignatieff ."
If you want others to respect your opinion, first work on removing personal bias from your argument. To a certain degree, sure, it's a youtube video; it's not like your up for peer review on it.
But right from the get go this thing slaps people in the face with anti-liberal party conceptions. The music doesn't help either.
Had you not been no personally inclined in this video, I might have taken it seriously.
What a distasteful, cheap political shot. He disrespected the victims of 9/11? Why did you see the need to play in slow motion the jumper? I guess that if you can't make a coherent, logical argument then you need to resort to theatrics and sound bite politics - bravo.
If Harper was PM on 9/11 we would be in Iraq right now, he said he thought we should be there with the US. Gee, wouldn' that be great! They are all dirtbags, next time vote green!
Presenting HughJohn51: Another uninformed individual that thinks America was attacked by Iraq on September 11th, 2001. As an uninformed conspiracy theorist, he votes green.
Uh, right. You got me. Have you heard of sarcasm? Look it up in the dictionary. What I am saying is 'thank goodness Stephen Harper was not PM then, or we too would be in the mess in Iraq. I don't know who committed 9/11, but the FBI says it was NOT Bin Laden, so why don't you 'inform' me with your brilliant wisdom SplattoMan, and tell me who flew a 757 in a loop around the pentagon before crashing into it?
You're right, Bin Laden didn't fly the plane. Care to back up with a credible source showing the FBI claiming he wasn't the mastermind of it? The FBI know he did it, and bin laden himself has admitted it in several of his tapes.
Sarcasm is fine but when you start distorting the truth you end up exposing yourself as an uninformed far-leftwing patsy.
Regardless if Harper was Prime Minister in 2002 we would be in Iraq now. If you think this is "exposing [myself] as an uninformed far-leftwing patsy" then i suggest you read Hansard from the dates in question.
No, that exposes you as someone who at least moderately follows the happenings. Add some doltish fallacious garbage like HughJohn and you'll then be invited to join his ranks.
There were other parts of the anti-terror clause which could not be supported. Voting against the clause is not voting for terrorist - it's voting against a flawed Bill.
The two clauses were 'investigative hearings' and 'preventative arrest'. Which of these could not be supported? Why did the Liberal Party endorse them both last fall, but upon election of a Marxist as leader, flip-flop and then oppose their own legislation?
The answer should be clear: The Liberals are playing politics with Canadian lives and national security.
Preventative arrest allows for the imprisonment of individuals without an issued warrant. Your video tries to assert that Ignatieff is for terror and Harper is against it. If that is cut-and-dry how it works then by the same token Ignatieff is pro civil liberties and Harper is against them. Arbitrary partisan advertising such as this is damaging to the fibers of our democracy, lets try to be adults.
That's a very juvenile assessment of the video. Never once did I saw that Iggy is "for terror" (your words). I said Michael Ignatieff needs to apologize for his comments, and I demonstrated the lack of judgment of the second in command of the Liberal Party. These families came to speak to MPs about the ATA measures and the Liberal party insulted their very wish to discuss their concerns with the members. Shameful Liberal arrogance, yet again.
So the wishes of those 24 Canadians should be considered over the 32 Million other Canadians? Meeting with them would have been nothing more than a Political ploy. The fact they are even considered a stakeholder in such a policy issue is whats shameful. Meeting with them would not, and should not affect policy
a political ploy? Far be it from politicians not to make things political. What did Stephane Dion have that was more important, English lessons? What's shameful was Ignatieff's comments and insult to the victim's families
I would like to see the full context of his commments before I am to make any judgement. That video does not give me that context. If you can do so it would be appreciated.
However, before I pass judgement on the nature of this particular situation, Mr Ignatieff is certainly NOT a stain in Canada...
I will go on, but if you could first give me the full context of the comments (or somewhere to find them) it would be appreciated.
Well iut's going a little far to say they actually support the taliban, but they sure seem to worry more about the treatment of captured taliban terrorists than they do about making the mission a complete success, about the safety of our troops, about not allowing Afghanistan to crumble again under taliban rule...
Garth Turner has drank from the red Kool aid. Stephane Dion is hostage to the ethnic special interests who supported him. The last Liberal convention:, "Dont vote for Bob Rae, his wife is a Jew" . That was said to Bob Rae's wife as she was about to vote. The Delegate did not know who she was.
On top of Iggy's cruelty was Garth Turner's shameful comment, calling the victims "props" - as if they had no voice of their own. Why insult these people? How low will the Liberals sink? Cynical Garth said:
"First it was relatives of people who died in the Air India terrorist bombing. Today it was the families of Canadians killed in Nine Eleven. These people were used as props and photo ops, and it hurt me to see the political grinder they were being put through."

Really? So a jumper was not the result of 9/11?
U needed to be killed in the building not outside to be a victim. Great logic you carry. Bravo to you.

Don't forget the Liberals are the same party who care more about Talliban detainees then Canadian soldiers.
Canadian liberals support the Talliban just as American liberals support Hezbollah.
