Yeah, i'm a fan of Dukes, but i too don't like to see another General bite the dust. What they oughta do at Dukesfests and i'm talking to U Warner Brothers if U guys see this....What U guys should've done on the TV show back in the 80's, was use a ramp to ramp jump to save a whole lotta Dodge Chargers back then. Dukesfests should do that in the future, ramp to ramp jumps if people want to see a 69 Charger go airborne. Then, no harm done either, to the car itself.

There's another video from either the 2005 or 2006 Dukesfest where the Charger they jumped was weighed wrong and ended up crashing on its nose. That was way too painful to watch. @rfvgh Not quite. There is a point when it's too trashed. If you jump a car like that, the frame is shot. There's nothing you can do to straighten that frame no matter how much money you have. You can slap the body on another frame, but again, you just a car like that, the body is probably so bent, it won't even align with the body mounts on the replacement frame. More than likely, the best you can do is salvage a few parts and send the rest to scrap. It's sad really.
