How to find a good mlm co.: Is the product good? Y/N? Is it something you would buy W/0 it being attached to a biz opp? Is it front loaded? (i.e. Is there a huge up front investment that the uplines are profiting off of or do they make their money when the product goes to a CUSTOMER) Success is possible through a legit mlm company. News Flash: it will take work. Don't sign up if a few no's are going to knock you out of the game. Expect to work to build a business.

I love how the MLM's purvey this notion of "financial freedom". News flash: The only ones going to attain this elusive freedom are the ones who invented the scheme. And the dreamy suckers only provide that to them.

I do agree to a large extent. I work with Primerica. PFS is a fully licensed financial company and if you write business, YOU GET PAID. It is obtainable. I do agree that most of the industry is crap. To many of these companies create a business within a business of "selling" motivation to their people and that in reality IS the business, not the garage full of snake oils and shit they will never sell.

I have a feeling this is rooted in sarcasm. Look, I don't defend the industry as a whole because there is a lot of crap out there. Any company can be good or corrupt regardless of the business model. I find it strange that going to a job where you have 0% chance of financial freedom is so socially acceptable and being involved with a legit MLM and having a shot at freedom is so offensive to people.

Looks interesting. I had a brush with Equinox--run by Bill Gouldd--back in the 90s and fortunately never put money down, but according to internet accounts thousands of others did and made nothing or next to it.
