@NateVarmac Ooops, sorry I must have seemed incredibly rude to you! Anyway, sorry about that, and the middle 8 is the bit that isn't the "dum-di-dum" or the "ooo-eee-ooo", its the bit that they always used to play during the credits of the David Tennant episodes.

I like this theme more than I did at first, but I'm still wondering what's happened to the most of the middle 8 :/

@ReidE96 its entire full theme including the middle eight is findable on the internet and on youtube I do believe but it was never broadcasted

@StuartTheGamerNerd Yeah, I found it on youtube, and it just sounds so much BETTER. Without the middle 8 it just doesn't seem complete.

I remember at the time wondering why they just did the intro and the finish of the tune. It's like watching a television program that only has the titles and credits! perhaps it's because of the longish "coming soon" trailer, and this weeks version is going to be a lot longer?

they dont broadcast the long credits with the middle 8 in some countries like australia (bummer!)  and america.

you can only get the middle 8 in UK countries and on the special dvd boxset edition. you could always try searching "Doctor Who - 2010 Long Closing Theme"

At first when I heard it I didn't like it, mostly I think because it was so different, it throwe me off a little, but now after hearing it a couple of times it's really growing on me. It's dark and treturous like any good adventure should be.

I'm guessing that once regular 'Next Time' trailers resume, we'll get a longer version of the closing theme.

Erm... It';s a bit... short... They should've done a woo-oo-oooooo bit in 00:10-00:24 I think... Would have sounded less 'cut' that way, and would be a little like what they did in the 80's...
