  • This video is incorrect in scenario #1. Homologs (red and blue or green and yellow) should pair up and separate in Anaphase 1, but they do not in this video as they are on the same side of the equator. Independent assortment will not set up like scenario #1--homologs will be opposite one another on either side of the equator.
