  • I forget what website it was but ppl were saying that this scope is kinda of a hit or miss. some pple got it with the crosshairs off or tilted. the price on this scope is perfect and alot of other reviews say it holds zero well and works awsome if you get a good one. i really want this scope i just dont wanna take achance of getting a lemon. hows it holding up??

  • @Sacreppin916 I must have lucked out, because this one has been on my SocomII since I received it and it holds zero perfectly. The crosshairs on mine are fine. yes I've heard the same negative and positive things about this scope, but I think most were referring to the earlier models. It's a great scope for the price, but I understand what you mean by taking a chance on getting a lemon.

  • An excellent review! You've helped me make a choice for my Kel-Tec RFB.

  • @Radionicist Its a great scope at a decent price. You have the capabilities of a zero magnification red dot and if needed, you can dial it out 4x for longer distances. Love mine on the SocomII and would highly recommend it to anyone.

  • Nice review. Not as good as my ACOGs but a nice scope none the less.

  • @notoo7 Its a nice scope. I like the fact that you can switch from 1x magnification for close shots and 4x to get more distance. I have an ACOG TA31 thats a fixed 4x only.

  • @guty2527 I'm not familiar with those other scopes. I've used the one that is similar to this one made by Trijicon but its like three times the price. I picked this one up for just around $200 and it works very well for my needs. Although it may not be as robust or designed to endure a lot of punishment, it really works out well for me.

  • man I bought mine for around 290 at the local store. Love the scope. Really dig the red dot feature along with the magnification. I have mine mounted on a DPMS 308 on PEPR mount and it has kept its zero perfectly.

  • Thanks for making this vid. One of the better reviews of scopes on youtube.

  • Was curious as to where you picked it up for the $190? You can send me a msg if you don't want to post here.

    Thank you.

  • @topslop1 hi, i found mine on Ebay. I was trying to locate the sellers store, but couldnt find it. I know they were up in Michigan.

  • @topslop1 It's on sale at SampleList for $159.50.

  • @Homerr0832 The demo model for $159.50 is sold out =( oh well.

  • Great video. Very informative.

  • @FirearmsPlus Thanks! Glad you liked it and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

  • Love that reticle! Really looking forward to your follow up video on this before I decide which scope to go with.

  • Awesome first look video. I love my millett. I've had it for awhile. I recently took it to the range after it being not mounted to my rifle for over 6 months. I mounted it up and hit the center with my first shot. It held zero pretty damn good. I got it with the Burris PEPR mount. It's not bad, but seems heavy. If I had to do it again $180 for the scope sounds better and a lighter cheaper mount. LaRue is outta my budget. LOL

  • @fatboyR6 As I was waiting on the LaRue mount to come in, I just threw the scope on a cheap one piece scope mount and it served the purpose just fine, but it is not quick detach mount. I believe it is much lighter than the LaRue, so I'm thinking of sending the LaRue mount back.

  • Looks like a great scope for the money. ;] Nice review.

  • Excellent review Chris. Just what I'm looking for. I'm on a tight budget.

  • GREAT VID!

  • This was a great video for me. I am not real familiar with scopes even though I have a few.I'm glad to see a high quality scope at a reasonable price. Awesome review and showing the actual view from the scope was so clear. Thanks Chris!

  • doggies :D 4:57

  • Is that Millet variable power?

  • @GunfightersINC Yes it is. 1-4 power

  • I really like that reticle

  • I don't own a rifle and I want one. Fantastic review man.

  • Excellent review Chris! The through scope video turned out very nice. I actually prefer this reticle over the CMR scope due to its simplicity. Thanks for taking the time to put together such a good video on what's obviously a high value scope!

  • @Patriot36 Hey man, thanks a lot! I also like the simple and clutter free reticle. Since I've only had experience with an ACOG and an Aimpoint, I wanted to broaden my horizon a little and try out something new without spending a load of money just in case I didnt like it. So far, I like the versatility of the scope's 1-4x magnification. I was thinking of getting the CMR, but had some reservations since it was a little more expensive and I was experimenting with a new type of optic.

  • Dude, you need to wear your JSAR during all reviews. :)

  • @Th3Kiddd1 lol..okay, I'll try and remember it for the following vids man.

  • Great job my friend. You give very helpful and thorough information. That looks like a nice scope for the price. Thanks for taking the time to pass along some useful info.

  • @SnowLobo95 Thanks Snow. I think its a great optic for the price. Very high value item in my opinion.

  • nice optics for a decent price point

  • How do you think the DMS compares to the Leatherwood/Hi-Lux CMR?

  • @latortuga81 I really like the simple an clean reticule of the DMS, but I do like the exposed turrets of the CMR

  • Thanks for the indepth review, people rarely give such great attention to detail. Can't wait to see it on your rifle

  • @andrewdoyle88 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment

  • Nice vid...always interesting and informative! It would have been nice to see a stepped magnification shown incrementally through the lense...maybe next time when you put it to use. Not complaining...just sayin'! Thanks for sharing.

  • Great vid buddy, I can't express how important I believe it is to help the newbies and next generation of shooters so that we may keep our sport and hobbies relevant, understood, and legal. You did a great job of explaining the optic to guys who may not have anyone to help them out. The Millet looks great by the way, when you spoke to me about it before I had never heard of them. Now that I see the quality that you get for the money I'm definitely interested inn checking them out. Take care

  • @1AbominAble1 I think sometimes we assume everyone that is watching, knows exactly what we are talking about. I had a friend ask me about the numbers and what they mean so I decided to explain it for him. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

  • @chanderson1 This is a scope I have been interested in also. Currently, I have a Burris FastFire II mounted and would like to mount a 1-4x24 in it's place. Then move the FastFire to a 45 degree mount, ~5 o'clock position. I would like to know how it shoots at the range. The one thing I don't like about the FastFire is the 1.07x magnification. I can definitely tell a difference with both eyes open, transitioning from target to target. How close is the 1.0X to being exactly 1, on the DMS-1?

  • @jhenry3016 Hi, no the DMS-1 is not quite at 1x, I would say its closer to 1.25

  • awesome review, that is very cool.

  • @pjicleanair420 Thanks man!

  • Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I bet you could utilize this scope and a 22 short and surprise your visitor.

  • @OilTheGun LOL, yes I have given that some thought

  • nice! i really been wanting to see a review showing the recticle on this scope! thanks a buch chan!

  • @benbangui No problem man. I really like how simple and clean the reticule looks. Seems like it will be very easy and fast to get a good clear target picture.

  • Will be watching for the field test..nice buy!

  • @dafrogtoad Thanks, will be doing the update in a month or so.

  • i had the millet, but recently upgraded to the Trijicon TR24g. It kicks ass.

  • @slugga06 The Trijicons are very nice, but a little out of my price range at the moment.

  • Looking forward to see how it works out for you.

  • @biguy525 Will do the update in about a month or so. As always, thanks for watching and commenting man!

  • Great review.I have been looking at the Millet scopes for a while now.Debating if I should get one or not.I'll wait to see what you think in field testing. Thanks

  • @unomas58 Thanks. Initial thoughts on it is that it's one solid feeling scope. Looks durable enough and the gathers enough light. Will do an update after using it for awhile. Thanks for watching.

  • Very nice vid. I'm one of the scope number retards so thanks for explaining. The site picture looked nice and crisp. Glad u didn't site in on the dogs lol

  • @thestubby0032 lol...I have a friend that is really into guns, but had no clue on what the numbers are for the scopes, so I just thought I'd give him some help. Anyways, thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Nice scope, especially for the price. Thanks for showing it.

  • @MyHollowpoint Its a really high value scope in my opinion. I'll have an update once I am able to use it out in the field.
