This phone HAS a 3.5 jack. It's on the right side, between the flip-hinge and the silver 'music' button. It's behind a door/cover similar to the charging port and the SD card slot. However, unlike those two covers which open from the bottom-up, this one opens from the top-down.

I have this phone. feels good in your hand, wide, heavyduty. best phone I've ever had. it's good for me because its a flip and not touchscreen ( hate them) and the screen is wide format. it's really like my small lap-top. thi 3G comes with myspace/ facebook/ google/ yahoo/ all instant and pretty fast. I want a instinct by samsung but it's touch-screen and I just think that all the touch style's are...well, kinda feminine.

I have it and it's an awesome phone. It's easy for quick texting and displays the message on the screen. The keyboard is awesome and did take some getting used to. The front screen plays media also, the only thing I didn't like is that the charger port wore out pretty quickly. Media like youtube and other things werent that great because the speakers were on the other side of the phone. Other than that it's a great phone.

Ok, well I have a lg lotus don't get me wrong I love it. But I am now on my 3rd one and it is broke again! My 1st one lasted me about 6 months and it got ran over.. Then I got a new one and it only lasted 3 weeks and fried, and then my dad went and got a new one, and it only lasted me 2 months and fried again...But it is a very nice phone when its not broke!

I got the rant now, b.c the lotus broke again, so they had to give me a new phone, the 4th time it broke it did almost the same thing you'rs did, it went sideways and I couldn't really do anything. and then it went all black inside and outside, the only thing I could do was call out. I had this phone and its the worst one I ever had believe me or not or give me thumbs down i don't really care everyone has their own experience some might love it and others might hate it and i hated it almost everytime i text it lags and when I browse youtube it just lags when i press back then i'd have to shut it off blah..I ended up giving it to my sister and getting Samsung Impression from at&t.. While on youtube, search "how to make music as your ringtone lg lotus" and you'll be given easy steps on how to make the music you've just download from ur pc into a ringtone.

The Lotus will not work with T-Mobile. It is a CDMA phone, whereas T-Mobile is a GSM network.
