The mag carrier seems awfully shallow. has anyone else had expereince with that carrier or others. I think I would prefer somthing that carries a little deeper
Great video very interesting and good info. I also had problems creating carry systems on some of my previous guns. I have a rock island 1911 tactical fs now and found a system that works great for me. Keep up the good work and ignore the haters..
That is not aluminum casing on the Hornady cartridge. It is nickle or nickle-plated brass--much better than aluminum! I was told (at gun store) that the red dot in the Hornady cartridge (which is what I use in my Glock and Ruger LCR) is to prevent the expansion in clothing, allowing it to penetrate heavy clothing (like a coat) and not expand fully until in the target for better stopping power. Glocks Rock!

All 4 of these video's were very good.I learned quite a bit.I have always owned revolvers and was in the market for a semi automatic. You sold me on the Glock. Now all I have to do is choose between the g19 or g23.Thanks for sharing!!
NoSavageNation: I really enjoyed this video series. I've had a lot of Glocks over the years and they all hold up brilliantly. The Glocks are really hard to beat as a handgun. Cost efficient, super durable, consistent platform going from one caliber to the next, great modularity and availability of accessories...and, finally, very well made. By the way, I have a Gen 4 G22 and love it. VERY good improvements. Wished they would have kept the chevron slide serrations from the RTF 2 model though.
Great videos, just watched all 4 in this series. For someone who is looking to make his first purchase you have provided an invaluable amount of information that i can expand upon with a bit more research. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and saving me if not others time and money by learning from your experience.
HEY!!! I'm just starting #4 and these are excellent videos. Although I already have a 19, and a 23(both newly aquired within the last two weeks) I traded my Beretta 92 for the G19. "A Great Carry system"
I recommend Speer Gold Dot 124 +P ammunition. Operates extremely well with Glock. Many police departments use Speer Gold dots. I own some pre-fragmented rounds, identical to yours. Good round, the only downside I have heard is, they aren't very effective at penetrating anything but flesh. I am not entirely sure I'd use them to carry because, you never know what obstacles you will have to deal with in a carry situation. Home defense I think they are best for. I own two glocks myself. G19 and G26.
Very well thought out videos. I too decided upon the Glock 19 for my carry system after experimenting with several other firearms. I hope your video will save someone the trouble of trial and error in this regard. Keep up the good work
@nosavagenation i have the 17 and the wife has the 19 so i can let her use my mags in hers and you can also get the 33rd mags and use in any glock 9mm.keep the vids coming also cdnn has glock mags new 19.99 lot better then 40 buck a pop for the high end 1911 mags
@applemonkey187 Most police officers user either the .40 CAL (Glock 22), .357 SIG (Glock 31), or .45 (Glock 31). They're all good. I carry the Glock 19 in the video daily.
Case is not aluminum it is nickel plated brass!

Excellent and throrough review! One of the best I had seen on the Glock 19.
I was wondering what it your professional opinion on the Glock 26 as a carry system compared to the Glock 19. Regards, Tony.

FYI the casing is nickel, not aluminum. Blazer makes the only aluminum casing I know of and it's only for target practice.

You should try a Galco summer comfort IWB holster for your carry system. One of my favorite and comfortable holsters that I own
