I love your video because we have similar hair care goals. I'm not trying to go natural but I don't want to over process my hair by getting a relaxer too often. Great tips!
Thank you for this video! You did very well in explaining things and subject matters. I like when people explain how to take care of your hair and use correct terms but also explain the terms! I hope that makes sense :) Anyway, awesome video I will be subbing!
Hey! Thank you so much for sharing your information, one of my sisters is having difficulting with maintaining her stretch and I am definitely passing your page and this vid along to her!
What do u ment by "deep conditioning" you mean shampoo &condition your hair or is there a really just a deep conditioner I can use weekly for my hair.Cuz my hair is really shreading and stifff but I dnt want to put a relaxer in it just yet!
if you've always had your hair relaxed how would you know what hair type you are. I highly doubt that you are a 4b. They don't call 4b more of a curly texture it's more kinky textured. There isn't a clear visible curl pattern with 4b. Some women don't know the texture of their hair.
@dvery1- make sure your moisturizing nightly, not too heavily and focusing on your edges and your ends and keep it covered up at night while you sleeping.
@lilbrownskin85 Thanks for the tip. I was concentrating mostly on my roots [the new growth on my crown] area. Thank God I finally found a good moisturizer for stretching longer. The "Herb. Ess." long term relationship is great. Love it!!! God bless!
I'm about to try for the first time to start stretching my hair. My "6 week mark" will be up this week and I've been doing serious research on this, reading and watching other people's care regimens. I want to be careful at what kind of moisturizers to use as well as shampoos. My problem is the detangling situation when I'm due for a relaxer period. I'm so tired of using relaxers all the time. This was really helpful. I'm going to keep watching people's reviews but this one was excellent (:
This was a very helpful video. I have my trying to figure out how to stretch my relaxers and some of the videos I've seen say to stretch it out 3-4 months (WTH?) so now I know I don't have to go insane with the stretching and its ok to relax my hair and put some heat on it. THANKS!!!
you had some really good tips that im gonna incorporate into my regimen. I usually stretch my relaxer fro 3-6 months with medium single braids...my hair definately grew from it...ive done it for the past year....do you think that braids are a good method...because im planning on doing it again... but i just want some feedback...
@lilbrownskin85 Thanks for your quick response! also how long does it take you to be fully dry when you air dry? can you please do a tutorial on how you blow out your roots after a roller set?
hey when your stretching how much hair loss do you get...? because when i stretch im scared to have my hair out cuz it may break so i get sew ins the whole time... i want to stretch without it because im doing a ten month stretch but im afraid it wont get the most growth it can achieve because it might break off what do you think?
Hello lilbrownskin85!!! I wanted to know if it were possible for you to show us your rollerset technique? I would really love and appreciate it bc you explain things so well! Thanks :)
that's true baby...vitamins and water help a whole lot... my hair use to be really short, damaged and overprocessed etc. i mean..the back of my hair use to come to the top of my neck..but i just use a little african oil daily, take mulitvitamins and drink like 3-4 bottles of water a day..and now i got hair..lmao but seriously u can look at my picture on my channel and see that it's fairly healthy=) good video sweetie
@lela2216 - Alot of women will roller-set their hair as a style. I roller-set my hair after washing it as a my preferred drying technique only. I dont do it for the curls. HTH
@lela2216 It is a great alternative to direct heat since it can be damaging so you can achieve the same look without a flat iron by rollersetting and wrap.
Thank you so much for the tips, ive recently gone from natural to perm. I was thinking about braiding to stretch my perms. what do you think about braids, kinda worried about breakage. would braids be a good protective style?
Great advice. About the vitamins...it was always hard for me to take those big hard vitamins but now I buy the adult gummie vitamins. Makes it easier to take them daily.
Thank you so so much for your great advice and tips from all your videos. They have helped me tremedously. I am actually beginning my own "Hair Care Journey" today, b/c I recently received my new hair products. Thank you again and I look forward to more of your informative guidance.

Do you sit under the dryer after you rollerset? or do you air dry your roller sets?

@blackberry815 - I'll say 90% of the time i air dry with the roller set. :-)
