OK finally a religious claim. I can say this man's opinion is not compatible with science. Science does not make assumptions with testing it for evidence. So far there is no evidence that a God is responsible for the creation of the universe. There is no reason to add God just because we don't know. Remember to people like this God is a pocket of ever receding ignorance. Meaning when we say, God did it we usually discover a scientific reason for it down the line and our ignorance gets smaller.

Me having different DNA than my parents results from having received a combination of my parents DNA that was already there. There isn't any NEW information being added to my DNA that wasn't already in existence before. Rather, my DNA is a scrambling of what my parents already had.

That said, how can new DNA ever be added to an organism? Keep in mind this is what evolution requires to make totally brand new traits in organisms.

A deck of cards has 52 cards (4 different suits contained 13 cards each). If the deck is shuffled and put into a different order, that does not mean those card numbers and suits have changed and new ones are thus created from the shuffling. The cards numbers and suits that already existed are just reordered differently than they were before.

@krownzera DNA is not read as a single 'card'. The DNA code is a 3 letter code so you can have the same Nucleotides in a different order and get new information.

Remember Darwin did not even know about mutations and still showed how evolution works.

Think about it. I can only reorder the letters A, B, and C so many times and I will run out of unique combinations. The reordering will not create a letter D. Why? Because there isn't any new information added to get that letter.

Second, just because there are x number of combinations means nothing because DNA is essentially a code and is read by a decoder. If the decoder can't make sense of the code it doesn't work. It does not create a new trait. The incorrect information is corrected. Most importantly is the fact that DNA is information and information can only arise from an intelligence. So the question is who designed DNA? God

The Catholic Church accepted evolution for the same reason they accepted Galileo's claim that the earth is not the center of everything and the bible was wrong, because it was proven to them. They just say it was guided by God.  It is obvious to anyone who looks at it.

Jesus died on "the tree" for us, he took the curse for us when he died on the cross. Redemption is getting something you PAID for that has been on hold. The OT saints (for example) were saved but NOT redeemed since Jesus Christ has not made the payment yet. The payment has been made and salvation now includes redemption.

@krownzera Correct, I look at dinosaur fossils and with my education and scientific thinking bias tells me that really big lizards with their legs under them were the dominant life form on the earth since there are no large mammal fossils around. And they didn't eat fruit becase there are no seed fossils found either. And thing have change because the trilobite use to be top dog but there are very few of them like in the lower levels of strata. What do you think about dinosaurs with feather?

What qualifies trilobites as "top dog"? By the sheer numbers of them found in the layers of strata or some other factor?

So in general, do more recent dinosaurs have feathers and older ones do not? If so, where did this new genetic information come from? I thought natural selection merely selects from a preexisting gene pool. I did not know it could create completely new genetic information too.

The fact that alot of animals have eyes, and other organs, and human as well, doesn't mean that we are somehow related. It means that we have a common designer. We all live on the same planet, with the same light from the sun, why would everything be different if the first design was perfect from the beginning? The fact that this video is old is on PURPOSE. Science that is good stays good. As far as DNA goes, it's so complicated that only Intelligence could have put it together. Evolution suggests that IT (evolution) IS that "intelligence"

Phrases like this "imply loosly" that evolution ITSELF is THE intelligence. Thus they take away what belongs to God.

But as to proving evolution--> LOOK INTO : Embryology~Comparative anatomy~genetics~Molecular biology and Paleintology. Then to verify what I said according to THE KING JAMES BIBLE..."The bible chronology" which says according to the bible that the EARTH can only be 6000 years old ! Does that makes sense ?
