  • at all cost GET THE DELTA QUEEN BACK HERE TO THE USA AND THE PLACE WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE,

DON'T LET IT FALL iNTO A SILLY RESTARAUNT LIKE THE REUBEN E LEE IN SAN DIEGO,

    THAT WAS A FARSE.

  • This is one sound that should have NEVER been taken away from our rivers! Please don't take our sunshine away!

  • @acoustics101 She'll be back on the rivers someday doing what she should be doing...and Oberstar will be rotting away in a bad nursing home where they smack the residents around.

  • @baritonebynight We can only hope that.Personally,I am afraid that it is too late for the Delta Queen to return to her intended use.Not sure where the engines are but they aren't onboard anymore. It's worse than looking at a boat heading for the scrapyard.

  • @doughesson I agree. I am a huge SS Admiral fan....and she died a first death when they converted her fromsteam to diesel, then a second one when the USCG grounded her. The final death happened in 1984-85

when Six Flags tore big holes in the side of her to accomodate the monstosity that was attached to her side.

  • @baritonebynight I think you're right. I read that the Delta Queen was sold to an Australian company so that her engines could be yanked out and they could ruin her. May the ones who contributed to her ruin be cursed forever more.

  • This is the Queen - built in 1928. She (and the King) was built in Glasgow, Scotland. Note that she has only 1 stack, not like the typical American 2 for her era.

  • yes. This is the 4th video in the series, not the 4th boat

  • isnt there already delta king and delta queen
