Glitch in the way I recorded videos; I used to use an open mic, and so when I recorded while having the mic set to open, it says I always have my mic on. Once I figured that out, I changed my mic setting to push-to-talk while recording (and later, while playing as well).

You really think so? Man, since making this video and the l4d2 versus demo, I've found myself thinking to myself "Man, I wish I could get better video and audio quality videos", but I was limited to what I knew how to do. So now, I have just attempted to make a better quality video than any of my preceding videos: at 1024x780 (or something like that) pixels with a high kbps. I should be uploading it tomorrow, so tell me what you think.

Not sure about your screen/game resolution, but why not record your demos on 1280x720 (just run the game in a window if needed)? If you set it up right you can get vids with about 100mb a minute.

If you check my page you can see the quality w/ Infid3l v2 (took me a while to set it up right though.. just try and see what works for you in your vid program). for audio i do recommend uncompressed for best quality.

I run my games at around 1440x1000 ish, record at that rate, then convert the files to a smaller size. Idk why, but it seems that the clips record at a very large size beyond the fact of pixels and fps. I mean, I converted a 40 sec clip from the 1400x1000ish resolution at 30 fps to 1280x720 at 30 fps, and it went from 400 megs to 17 megs, with no perceptible difference in the quality! Sure, it was marginally more fuzzy, but overall, same sound, same smoothness, etc...

It was a 400 megabyte 40 second clip. If I made my videos at that resolution, they'd be roughly 9 gigs large, and would take roughly 24 hours to upload, which would mean 24 hours of me not having internet.

I decided to go to a higher pixel rate in order to see what it's like on YT. It looks really good on my comp.

I know the quality's not that good, which is why I am trying a video with better quality, but...

I've noticed the server you're playing on is really good. My only complaint is that this incap-crawling thing seems a little unfair especially in the last clip (Bragging time: I actually appeared in the video, I think I was the boomer that blinded them in the beginning of the last clip.... I fail.)

Yeah, a strategy widely used by downed survivors is to crawl to the safe room, which removes most danger for the living survivors, since they can just open and shut the door quickly.

Though, even in normal servers, the last tank doesn't ever get used much. I've seen a couple of times where it's been able to get 1 survivor of the 4, but the other 3 still escape.

Not to brag, but I've seen it put into good use. For example, I was playing the Death Toll finale 1vs4 and I completely PHAILED at attacking the survivors as the two tanks but I managed to kill all four of them with the third.
