  • One more thing...what makes this song for me besides the Bible lyrics is the tiny, often forgotten instrument the triangle...it's proof that Michael Card use everything to teach about and serve Jesus.

  • He also plays this on the harp. Scripture verbatim is hard to beat.

  • Bellísima canción!!!! No me canso de escucharla

  • When my husband first introduced me to Michael Card when we met in 1994, this was one of those first songs. It sank into my heart and mind and has always been with me as a comfort, like a friend. May I recommend this book my husband introduced to me at the same time? "A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23" A real shepherd from South Africa examines Psalm 23 in light of all the practicalities of shepherding sheep and the close relationships he has with them. That book brought me through some hard times.

  • Delicated this song to my teacher who told me she carried Psalm 23 in her heart as she went thru' her ops recently. Praise the Lord that she is now a living testimony for God's Healing and she is on her recovering journey now ...

  • This is one of my favorite songs by Michael Card. Lovely!

  • Still loving this song after 4 months of hearing it.

  • I admired so much not just the song but the singer who sang w/ anointing the Lord given!

  • How beautiful!!! I didn't know anything about Mr. Michael card. My God this man is a Gift from God to us. What a great voice!!! He is a blessing and his music is beuatiful!

He is a Great Singer!! Grande Michael Card!

  • One of the most beautiful versions I've ever heard on this Psalm, if not the most beautiful! What a blessing!!

  • I'm singing this today at Church. I'm glad I got a chance to listen through to it. That's truly beautiful.

  • I absolutely love this song. I love Michael Card's version of the song. The video is great. I have to say I had to laugh though when the cute teddy bear appeared when he says "I fear no evil". Sorry, I just can't see evil in that cute little teddy bear.

  • What a blessing. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. I love Michael Card and I love this song!

  • I have listened to this song for years, sung it to my sweet grandmother at her memorial, and tomorrow it will be played at my mother's service. Thank you so much for posting....

  • When i heard this song i was blessed. My heart was touched so deeply with this beautiful song. I thank God in the life of our bro. Michael, he's a blessing. I pray, through this song people around the world will take Jesus as their personal shepherd and savior. Shalom!

  • This Psalm and song is particularly special to me because it was the song I played at my brother's service. He passed away from a tragic motorcycle accident many years ago. The minute I received the phone call in the middle of the night that he had passed, I prayed that God would take him, and I felt this song was appropriate at his service. Being 3 years younger than him, I felt the deep need to say some words, recite a poem, and share this beautiful Psalm. God speed my brother.

  • such a beautiful version, have been looking for it for a while :)

    wonderful words...

  • great song God bless u all. Ovidiu /Romania

  • This song is a blessing. The music and melody are full of hope. I love you you, my Lord. I love you, my mama.

  • This version of 23rd. Psalm, sustained me when i was homeless with 3 of my 5 children. I would sing it at the top of my voice as we were walking along country roads to get supplies-25kms. away.

The cattle stampeded, but at least then my 3 sons knew the power of faith and clinging to our Rock. Love to You all, Angela.

  • Once again great work! Pleas don't remove it.

  • That stuffed bear creeps me out.

  • That's what I'm sayin'! The clips were almost as great as the song. How can people just skim over this and not notice how much of a good spiritual work of art it is. Anyway I love your video.

  • im deeply surprised no one has commented on this beautiful song. music like this truly is a blessing, after having a hard day i can come before the Almighty an listen to music centered towards his praise an be centered in conscience again. praise God for his gift of music, and the minds of those who write beautiful pieces, like this one.
