  • hm... it's an interesting interpretation of turning an inside kick into an inside throw. I still like the kick so much that I'll just pretend it's a high kick tp the head, but i'll keep in mind the other possibilities.. thnx for this demo, your tai ji is truly great

  • Nice app -and it's a good kick as a lower sweep!

  • Much of Tai Chi is like this, though it is hidden to those who don't practice. It's all about opposites, it's the art of generating the maximum power with the bodies you have. Pulling them one way and hitting them from the opposite is vicious or maybe lethal. Maximum power is unnecessary, so one tries to master the art of only using as much power as is required; or better yet: letting the opponents own power defeat them. Compassion is the key to understanding this art.

  • Great moves!

I'll definitely add them to my morning workout !

  • Please move to England.. :(

  • awesome ....adding power to the kick by sandwiching the attackers head between the hand strike and to foot...AMAZING.

  • Hello. You're the fellow in the video yes? I practice Taiji Chuan as well (Yang style). My sifu trained through the form of Chang Dsu Yao whom was his master. Anyhow, I think your videos are pretty good and love Tai Chi Quan "^^

  • Awesome. I always wondered about the kicking methods of taiji.

  • taiji is a sophisticated fighting style. it's only natural that so many people could misunderstand it.

  • ok, dude, firstly, its pyjamas, not pijamas, get ur spelling right. secondly, that aint 'pijamas', that's the wushu costume for taiji quan, get ur facts right...

  • and how do you expect to actually be able to hit them there in a fight?

  • by trying.

  • Great !!

  • that looks like a sifu that knows what he's doing. Great video.

  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful video. Can you tell me if this whirlwind kick equal the spinning (270 degree) move in Yang style? Anybody
