that is fricken awesome because it will never be seen if you have a job and you'll always stay professional until you turn out the lights and put a black light on
heres a neat question, can you layer blacklight tattoos over normal ones? as in could you get a pair of black wings tattooed on your back then come back and have them done again in blacklight ink? would they still show up under blacklight?
UV tattoos may be cool looking, but the pigments in them are carcinogens and because they are so new on the market they aren't regulated as closley as normal inks.
@raverella UV ink is not FDA approved to use on humans, only on livestock. The chemicals that compose UV ink are not considered 100% safe due to the number of reported skin irritations. Numerous skin rashes, blisters and infections have been reported with UV ink. In addition, there is some concern that these inks may contribute to cancer. Looks cool? ye, but so does the pistol to your head or chopping an arm off^^ why not choose those? :)
@cblazer lol xD when ppl see me all tattooed and with mohawk on my head they call me many things but 'gov whore' is a first xD thanx for that - now I'm complete with all of the hateful epithets imaginable :P
Anyways - good luck with destroying your life :) stopped destroying mine a few years back when got a wonderful family - hope same will happen to you :) it's a much better alternative :) if you won't tho your cig will always keep your life warm :) enjoy :)
@Kpackom no look i'm sorry i wasn't calling you a whore, it meant that people are getting to where they just repeat what the FDA, in this example, say like it not being approved, we've seen plenty of times where they are wrong on things, gov. whore= talking heads repeating talking points. I'm very happy you have a good life and i'm trying not to destroy mine I'm slowly building up my existence to mean something. Be proud your existence brought you to where you are now.
@cblazer that I can respect and relate to :) thanx for explaining :) I shall explain aswell - reason for my post is that my wife is a tattoo artist and I'm assisting her with gear and stuff and we don't use any inks that might possibly be harmful. All our customers know that. We don't condemn ppl who use them or those who get them - what we do condemn is the fact that most artists don't inform ppl about a possibility of risk - one thing is to ignore it if you know it, the other is not to know.
@Kpackom I have a great little family, and tattoos... I don't know if I'll actually GET a UV Tattoo as I am not sure about the after-effects, which you have brought new questions on about, I just think they're super cool and one day I will get one, considering safety first obviously. I have a kid, so I have priorities when it comes to health obviously. Thanks for the head up.. but for now, I can just admire :)

How different is this from a normal tattoo?
I mean anything special you need to know for getting a tattoo like that?
Also how long do they last?
player1vladimir 1 year ago
@player1vladimir Just like a traditional tattoo, it does wear off after long periods so you have to touch em up.
